New Wheels (Tenzo R DC5 Version 1 w/225/40-18 Nitto Neo Gen's), and some of Doggy's handy-work on the front and rear splitters and Duckbill spoiler. I'd digging it!

that looks fantastic with the splitters and duckbill thumbsup.gif it may not be as fast as your other rides but that styling makes it HOT.

how do the new wheels/tires feel ? comfy, bumpy, any rubbing when you do a full turn ?

looks great. last thing i would do the exterior is jdm tails or smoke/red out the stock tails.
looks amazing. is it just me or do those rims look smaller than the older rims? i think the new ones fit the car better.

JDM tails are on the list, along with shaved marker and door handles. I think I preferred the old wheels because the lip gave them some depth and made the fenders look more curvacious.

The new wheels look smaller because the tires are bigger. The old wheels had rubber band 215/35-18's on them, these wheels are the same size, but the tires are 225/40-18. The ride is VERY supple and comfortable with the new setup.

The car almost caused a wreck today while I was working at AutoZone. A group of bikes came down the road and one slowed down while staring at the car and pointing and almost got rear-ended. biggrin.gif

I'm dead serious. I was laughing my butt off in the store watching them do some quick maneuvering so they didn't run over each other. Had a local guy stop in the store and invite me to a little local car enthusiast meet last night. So I went and the car got an amazing reception.

Well, best part so far, zero rubbing from the bigger tires. And she's sitting on them really good now that the suspension has settled back down. I miss the dish of the old wheels but REALLY love the new look too.

Looks very nice. Not a big fan of the huge sticker, but that is personal opinion. One suggestion - fix the spoiler holes! smile.gif

The sticker was a lot bigger than anticipated, and I'd like to eventually replace it with a smaller one. Gotta give a shout out to Dr. Tweak though for his work. The spoiler holes are in the works. I'm looking for a spoilerless hatch for a donor but not having any luck.

Update on those new Nitto NeoGen tires. These things are phenomenal! I have continued to be amazed by the ride quality, adhesion to the road, and the stiffness of the sidewall. When we had the old 215/35-18 Goodyear Exclaim UHP tires, I never really trusted the car. The turn in on these things was unbelievably soft. After hitting the twisties today while driving around, I was stunned as how solid the car feels on these tires.

Best part? No rubbing with these after really pushing it. It's got to be close because the front especially is really sitting on the tires, but no rubbing that I've heard/felt/seen traces of.
