Joe,
If you lay the old crashbar inside of the new bumper, you'll see why it does not fit. You'll end up having to basically cut off the bottom two of the three horizontal sections, as well as cutting an angle into both the edges. Its pretty thick aluminum, and so it would take a while with a hacksaw. I would recommend just getting someone who has a good metal cutter to help you out. I can upload pictures later of mine (I ended up getting the real gt4 crashbar about 6 months after I did the conversion, so the cut-up one is sitting in my garage.) Let me know if you want the pictures. -------------------- ![]() psalm 69 |

QUOTE(_mikeE @ Apr 27, 2008 - 2:05 PM) thanks a lot, but i already looked at that thread, and the problem was that if i cut the crash bar like his, the gt four fog lights wont be able to be hold by the crash bar, he was using different fogs, thats why his method worked,, or where else can the fog lights be mounted? -------------------- ![]() |

It cut through it like butter. -------------------- 15PSI - 30MPG - Megasquirt Tuned
