i found some tein s springs and though about purchasing them. a friend of mine told me i would need a camber kit so that the tires stay flush against the ground. is this true?... if so how much do they typically run for i found some on ebay for like $7 (2 bolts)

thanks

they only lower it like 30mm? take into account that your standard springs will of sagged at least 10mm and its only a 25mm drop, not like your running coilovers, i have the teins and no issues at all so far smile.gif

well i was not so lucky.

I need cambers, its something your going to find out after the drop.

Cars are not created equal, i thought i did not need it, but know i do. Youll know when you drop it and they can tell you after the aligment. Some people run with -1 degree of camber and seem to like it. I have more, especially in the rear, its wearing my tires uneven.

i bought some eibachs..

20 bucks + shipping from www.importrp.com

2 per set. I bought for front and rear. Depending on where i need them, Usually its one per wheel. If i dont need them i can always resell. but judging by eyeball, i will be using all.

necessary??? maybe.......depends on your budget now. if you have $$ to buy it why not. but if your on a strict buy only list then you always could get it later.

heck im on semi-blown shocks.......no current alignment......70% tires left........tein s techs......and no camber bolts biggrin.gif the car still is okay....trust me on this. ride is the same alignment is kinda off......ride isnt bumpy.........

oh and i do have a recon sticker.........from the previous owner biggrin.gif

not necessary unless you're going for a 2"+ drop. when i had my 6th gen, it was dropped 1.8 and it was not necessary at all. now that i have a 2.25 drop on my 7th gen, i do lol.
