Hi all I am in the market to buy a digital camera. I'm want something small/thin/cool-lookin; has great bzoom, and high mega pixel, and great quality/realiablity. I dunno thats all I can think off.

I was at best buy and the Olympus Stylus 1010 caught my eye. I'm bro has a (bigger olympus) according to him it has been great. So I thought the olympus brand would be good? I dunno.

Anyways post yalls recs and opinions

THANKS!

I'm a big fan of the Sony Cybershots. Really small, cheap and good pics imo.

I got the DSC-W35, guess there have been a few new ones out since then.

Here's a pic (not full size as had to fit under 1MB for Photobucket)

Canon S3 doesn't really fit into the small/thin/cool looking category as requested though...

THIS seems to be a newer version of mine, looks cool smile.gif

Well it depends on what you want.
Canon s3/s5 is probably the best camera in the point and shoot category. Its the perfect thing to learn photography on.
But not everyone wants that. Most people just want a basic slim point and shoot. In that case, it really doesnt matter. Buy anything. They all take good pictures.

I really like my sony, it is old and is only 3.2 mp but takes decent pictures, it is more of a hybrid
than a p and s though. Get something you aren't going to outgrow. Five years ago I didn't even
own a camera then after owning my sony and getting into it more, I got a dslr. I bought a Canon
because they have a lot more lenses to choose from, otherwise I probably would have stuck with sony.
