But I do get some guys' attention by driving my car... I guess it's the chick version of Hey man, nice Supra. It particularly cracks me up when I see guys checking out my car when I'm driving, and they pull up and realize it's some lady driving. Meh. At least I look younger than I am! --------------------  |

its happend to me twice b4. this one kid at school says he knows cars like the back of his hand and when i 1st got the celi he came up to me and said "Whoa! dude thats a nice supra, i wish i had one!". So i played along and he still thinks i have a supra hahaha

its happened to me a couple times! the most extreme incident was when i was at best buy getting a player installed, and the guy wrote down supra on the order form under make and model lol he saw the intercooler and thought it was supra
needless to say, i was worried about him working on my car

See, I used to get the opposite of that before I put a GT4 hood on and dropped my Purple #933 Celica. I'd get guys driving up along side me admiring the car, look over to give me their "remove sunglasses to reveal cool stare" only to clock I was a guy. Used to crack me up I don't know how you girls manage to keep a straight face sometimes when guys act like that.

yes, ive prob got it half a dozen times, last time was at a car show, and these chicks were posing on my car, they go,
hey is this your supra? and i say, nar its a gtfour, i then see the confused look on their face and go on to say, its a turbo 4wd rally car! the excited look on their face soon returns

I use to get that all the time but the REALLY sad part is, is that it was during my time in college. I was studying automotive mechanics... I didnt have the heart to tell the other guys that it was a celica not a supra.. it was too depressing that they even could mistake it to begin with lol

yeah know what you mean, yesterday went to the local tyre/exhaust garage to get my exhaust checked out (its full of holes) and the mechanic was asking me if it was the twin turbo, i just laughed and corrected him, think he felt a bit embarassed! nevermind

Having owned a Supra before and hearing that be called a Camaro, I wouldn't be surprised to hear the Celica being called a Supra.

Just last week my brother and I were driving around to the local junkyards to look for parts. We pulled into the parking lot of one and 3 guys was standin' outside talkin'. Our windows were down and as we slowly passed by them, me and my brother heard one of them say "Dammmnnn duuude...that's a Supra!" The two of us looked at each other and frowned. We sure as hell didn't see any Supra's when we pulled in!

HAHA, nope not yet. I only owned my car for about 3 months...but I bet people on the freeway are probly like. "Hey, check out that supra up ahead" LOL!!! Beacause the 6th gen celica does have similar body lines to the supra's...

Yesterday i was parked outside my second job, and a guy in a motorcycle pases by looking at my car,
he makes a u turn and stops at my window, "woow, nice supra! where can i get one of those!" and i am like, sorry but this is a celica and this is the jdm look, so you wouldn't find any near" and he is like, "but still if you know of any celica on sale, tell me!! jajaja it was hilarious

humm when we owned a celica and a eclipse i had a dumb friend that was waiting to be picked up by me in my ex celica (he knew my car a lot), but before i got there my mother passed there wih our ex 2g eclipse doing her stuff...and i cant imagine her face when my friend (unknown to my mother) stepped into the car at a red light, he got slapped and kicked, and hell broke loose.....then i arrived and he was all beaten up, and i ask him, wtf happened to you...and he told me both cars loooked alike...i just replied...wtf are you blind?
