pretty sure usdm is the same as jdm, on jdms automatics have 1 cable, manuals have 2.

pretty sure you're gonna need to source a manual cable. those things are a set length so that when you shift, it pulls or pushes so much, and if there is too much or not enough slack, it's not going to work correctly. BUT you may be able to pull something off, i wouldn't though.

Better off getting the correct ones. From memory the auto is a bit longer..

auto is A LOT longer, and you won't have the correct connections.

just own up and get the right cables, it'll save you hours of headach

the auto cable and the manual cables are different. The auto is much much longer.

lol i have no idea how it happend but thats how iv been driving and clueless till i couldnt shift rev. and 2nd 4th but i think it was like that when i bought the car a year ago cuz shifting was always a little squishy...but with good cables i bought from supra12big (witch is a good member to buy from i may add)...it shifts like never b4 fast and persice
