Description: We will be meeting at the AutoBacs location in Covina @ 11am. Reason we are meeting here instead of at Marco's house is so that I can post the address for the public to view. The Covina location is closer to a larger majority of the SoCal members than the Stanton location. If there are those who insist on meeting at the Stanton location, you can meet there at 9am and then come to the Covina location together at 11am. The meet will consist of your basic meet, greet, and then we will BBQ.
BBQ preping will begin around 4:30. Cooking will begin once the grill arrives around 5pm.

Thank you . Unfortunately, my Celica will not be done by then. I picked up a new sibling for the Celica, so my money needs to be distributed amoungst them now. If my BMW sells soon, then the paint and everything will for sure be done . But if anything, I would atleast like to get the body damage on my Celica fixed even if I don't have enough time to spray it in Smokey Granite Mica.

Haha yep! If I remember correctly, your SC430 color name is Indigo Ink Pearl. The SC430 was also availible in Smokey Granite Mica, not to be confused with Twilight Amethyst Pearl which is darker than SGM .

The girl in my avatar is the beautiful ms. Leah Dizon. I know I have the blown up pic on my computer (along with a many others), but my internet is being slow so I choose not to upload haha. A simple google search should suffice. Be warned that a few pictures may not be safe for the work environment.

My tastes have changed a bit recently. I've developed a liking to girls with pink hair for some reason (just a phase). It looks surprisingly good in person. Just throwing this out there as an idea...

How about someone bring a grill and have a bbq/potluck aftewards? It'll be a change of pace from the usual (love the buffet, but would enjoy a simple hotdog(s) or roasted corn out in the sun just as much). Bring a football/basketball or something if it's at a park. Hell, anyone play tennis or skate?

Darn, I'll be in town that weekend but will be busy. Maybe I can put in a guest appearance if this meet runs late...can't make any guarantees though, never know if some hot bridesmaid may need my "assistance" escorting her home that night

I don't mind having a BBQ or something else, but can we please not cook hotdogs there? I'm not ready to face another hotdog since this weeks sickness incident. I'll be ok again someday, but....it's just too soon .

So yeah, the meet will most likely run late since meets usually do. But it depends on how long everyone can stay. The only reason it would end early is if Thomas has a mahjong thing, Christina or Alexi have a band thing, Yuchen needs to either babysit or be a taxi driver, Xavier is tired from partying the previous night, Joe and Aaron and something with their girlfriends, Marco runs out of gas money, or I get lost because someone thought it would be a good idea to speed through yellow lights knowing that the last person in the caravan (usually me) will either have to run a red light or get left behind .

DUDE!!! So I just caught a fly in my hand right? Cause it was bugging me (no pun intended). But so I catch him and I'm all talking smack like "what you gunna do now fly!?" And I open my hand and he's all not moving and he's on his back and his legs are curled up, and I'm like wth!? How did you die!? All I did was capture you in an enclosed area in my hand! (like a pokeball). So then I feel bad because I didn't mean to kill him, I just wanted to teach him a lesson. So I go to put him down on the table, and then he flys away! I mean I'm glad I didn't kill him, but he really did look like he was dead with the whole leg curl action going on. He laughed at me and called me a fool, then hit me on the head with a rolled up piece of paper and said "how do you like it beeotch!?" Ok so that last part didn't really happen haha, but I assure you that the first parts of it are true until I used personification on the fly.

We need to contact them because last time they gave me coupons for Autobacs to hand out that are good for that day. Actually they SAID they would give me coupons at the last Autobacs meet (remember it? it was in July last year haha. Yeah I thought about that too. It's not such a bad idea, and that's why it's a good reason to meet directly at Autobacs (except those going to Marco's for the Caravan). Because it wouldn't make sense to meet at Marco's, drive to autobac's and then drive back to Marco's hahaha. So I will most likely just get to Autobacs first and wait for you guys there. Marco, will you be ok with handling all those interested in caravaning from your place on your own? From the looks of it, it will most likely be Yuchen and Xavier (possibly Ty). Those are the members off the top of my head that are arriving from the west. Other members are either already in the area, or are coming up from the Southern quadrant. It's kind of odd that I don't even have to think about where these people are coming from anymore because I have most of it memorised. And I'm pretty sure I know most of the SoCal 6gc members by their real name and can name their car, color, and if it's a manual or auto. I can take a pretty good guess at who is GT or ST, but I'm not 100% certain haha. I don't even think I need to ask for any more information from you guys like before. If any of you changed your cell phone number recently, then please let me know just incase I will need to contact you. My number is still the same . Just for another few weeks though haha.

We can put the food in an Ice Box to keep them fresh. It will be able to keep the meat good and the meet good . It might be better to go to Autobacs first, becuase people aren't usually hungry right away. Walking around Autobacs will give people a time to arrive and gather, then the walking will build up our appetite.

EDIT: I just got back from Autobacs (the one in Stanton), and that place was deader than I have ever seen a place ever be. I hesistated to even walk inside, because I'm saying tomyself, "dude, are they even open? no-one is inside..." There used to be car meets there on Saturday nights too, but tonight, there was like 2 cars. It was seriously bad.

Here is my review of the Stanton location ...

Upon entering the building, I felt a cold presence, almost as if I wasn't welcome. Many many employees, however, I feel as if McDonald's employees would have been more helpful at this point in time. The employees there were standing around chatting and were non helpful. They gave off an impression as if they were forced to work their against their own will. I quickly gathered what I needed and got out. The store used to seem larger to me, but they really don't have a very large selection. I found the selection at the Covina location to be much more complete, and not just an entire row of Air Fresheners. The Stanton location did not have what I was looking for, so I had to purchase the JDM version of what I wanted, which was ofcourse much more exspensive. All I wanted was some simple smoke spray, made by VHT, simple can, usually about $10 a can. But nope, since Stanton Autobacs is JDM, they only carried the small JDM can of smoke spray at $25 for a can that is half the size of the VHT can. Freaking retarded. I had promised my friend I would tint his tail lights for weeks now, but have always been post poning it. So I really had no other choice. I didn't have enough time to drive to the Covina location and get what I needed, so I bit the bullet and purchased the spray and an air freshener. This spray better be enchanted by the spirit of an old Japanese racer and add 200hp, and play magical music every time you drive your car.

I can't find anything around the house, I'm not done packing, and I have to give my 2 weeks notice for my job right about now. I'm missing a ton of important paper work which I will have to find within the next few days. Gosh I'm stressing. I gotta rent a Uhaul, but I'm screwed because I only had planned to take 1-2 cars when I moved, but nothing sold, so I'm stuck with all of them. Damnit . I do not like this at all. And to top it all off, I'm thirsty haha.

But anyways, the meet is still on, it's the only thing I have to being remotely organized with. Except we still need to work out a few things on who is bringing what to the BBQ. I know it's short notice, but it looks like we're not going to have a lot of people going, so please bring what you can . Did you ask for help and they didn't give it to you or something? Is someone supposed to walk up to you and hold your hand? It's a car place man... not a day care. If you need help walk up to an employee and ask for it.

As for chips, I like your basic Lays with ridges because they have better dipping strength. Do you guys think it's a good idea to have chips and Salsa due to the recent Tomatoe thing? I was at Chipotle yesterday, and they aren't serving tomatoes at all.

Haha I think I'm over my hole "I can't stand hotdogs" phase. So if someone would like to cook hotdogs, then I don't mind at all. I probably wont eat any, but please, don't let me stop you . Maybe if they look really good, then I will eat some. I really want to grill some meat and some vegitables. We really don't need a HUGE grill or anything. There are only going to be about 10 of us as far as I can tell. I guess it depends on how many people we bring. I know a few of you usually bring your GFs along which is cool. Hey, it looks like I can make it to this BBQ (just for a little while, anyways). Wedding is at 8AM and reception is at 5pm...so there's a gap in between. I can hang out with you guys in my tuxedo so no hackysack or football for me (but I can keep score like no one's business).

While I'm there, maybe I can get some of you guys to help me out with a little "project" of mine. I need some video shots of our cars, interior, outside shots, poses, etc (I plan make a music video). Night time shots would have been better, but w/e. I don't have a good camera anyways, so I'll take what I can get

Alright, just a random bump. I was thinking to myself while working. The BBQ will have to end at around 8pm if the park closes, but that doesn't mean we have to end the meet. If you still want to hang around, we could probably go to Life Plaza and grab some Boba which I hear is buy one get one free (if you happen to want 2 of the same flavor). They should also have billards in the same plaza and an arcade there. It's the location in Rowland heights I believe, it's off the 60freeway. It's been years since I've been there. I remember that was the first place I hung out at when I moved to California. I think they don't stay open as late anymore though, but I can't find out what time they actually close. It's an amazing place to take night pictures, but the problem is that there are usually a lot of people there (asian people to be exact). Idk that matters, but I thought I'd add that in . They also have a lot of asian stores there, to cater to the asian people. And just because I thought this was funny, but never would have understood it if it wasn't for Marco ...

I have to leave my older Celica at home because it is now a three speed so it doesn't like freeway driving anymore. Instead of fixing the trans I'm going to research a 6 cylinder MKII engine/trans swap . Let me know if there is anything else we need to bring.

It sounds like it's time to smog your rides. I'm currently looking for a factory air box for my GT because it won't pass visual . I thought I kept mine when I moved so I have to dig through boxes in the garage and hope to find it.

Alright, so anyways, ya'll wouldn't be interested in having a party afterwards would you? A few people from work found out that I'm leaving and they want to throw me a going away party. It might be too late to go to Scoreboards or Crazyhorse for some of you guys, and if some of us are going to be left behind, I don't want to do that. My co-workers haven't told me too much, but it seems like everyone has their own little plans with me. Hahaha, the funniest part is that I've inspired so many people to quit their jobs now haha. There are 3 valets and 2 porters that are going to put in their 2 weeks now that they found out I'm leaving. Yeah, only 5 people, but the service department isn't that big, probably only 45 employees all together, so it's going to be a big hit for the company muhahaha. . It's because I have strong feelings against how the company is run and how the employees are treated. Like, my one friend for example, he's like.. I would say... 30? And he's got a university degree, he's been working there for many years, and he speaks 3 different languages. He's a really big help to the company, but they refuse to pay him what he's worth. They pay him like he just got out of HS or something. It's seriously, really really bad working there, but it has taught me a lot about how companies are run, and what can be done to improve efficiency. I never knew the importance of guest service until working there, and all the classes they sent me to. But, I'm getting something better, but I'm going to take what I learned with me . Dang, I started rambling again.

Anywho, I hope this meet turns out to be a success! I'll be happy with whoever shows up, I really appreciate your time guys. I hope you all have a good time .
