Well, listen to this crap. I got my st205 3sgte and all my parts together and I finally found a place to bring it that would do the swap. I dropped my car off on January 15 and I thought I had all of my parts in order, but apparently I was missing a 3s pressure plate, so I ordered it. I had ordered it from a company in Cali and I figure that I would get it in a week, but it took them a month to tell me that they wouldn't be able to get it for almost 1 1/2 months and I couldn't wait that long, cause these guy's were waiting on the part. By the way I live in CT and I brought my car to MA the place is called East Coast Swappers. So in the mean time the owner of the shop calls me up after a month of waiting for the part and say's, basically that he can't wait anymore and he will have to put my car outside because he had other customers coming in. So I finally got the part from a different company, I cancelled the order from CA. I dropped the part off on the Monday that I got the part and I thought that they would start working on my car right away, but that's not what happened. A get a call the following Wednesday that my car had been broken into, so I went to look at it and they had ripped my passenger door handle off, but they didn't steal anything. This was in February and the owner told me that he would work on my car in March. But, he didn't get to it. He kept giving me dates when it would be done and every time I called he said they didn't get to it. So it has been almost 6 months and I talked to him on tuesday of this week and he said that he would have my car back by the second week in July. So I'm hoping that he does get if back to me by then, but I don't believe it because he has told me false dates before. What I would like to know from you guy's is what would you do if you were in this situation. My car has no motor in it and it is sitting in his lot, they have done minor work like re-wiring, but that's about it. I've already contacted my lawyer and he said that he would give him a call, but I don't know if that's the right way to go about it. IDK I can't sleep over this ****, I just want my car back totally finished. Let me know!!!

I would get it moved asap and have them pay for the damage. I was in a similar situation where it kept dragging on and bad stuff kept on happened. Getting it moved was the best thing that happened to my swap. If its not already done, they probably don't know how to to do - i learned that the hard way. Do your research on where to move it though because you don't want to move it into another similar situation. Good luck.

yeah man, seen this before, the shop say they will do it and are all enthusiastic, but they just leave your car sat there for months, a mate is in the same situation. in the end it costs you precious time and money chasing these guys up to finish the car.. That SUCKS bigtime, so i would say pull the plug, because there are plenty of other places that are willing to do the work and respect their customers.

Am I safe in saying you dont recommend East Coast Suckers?? biggrin.gif
