personally i think one of the first mods that should be done on a car is to get new rims. it truly changes the whole look of the car more than anything else. true it can be kinda expensive but still.
after that i would lower her. maybe eventually get a body kit if you prefer but still the most noticeable change would be the wheels. but no matter the order you go i would also recommend the new JDM tail lights, they make the car look more modern and less like an early 90s sports car.

x2^^^ get rims, slam it and upgrade handling. Our cars are already pretty from the get-go but if you want to add more accent to it then get lips and skirts preferrably the trd ones.

I wouldn't bother with the handling unless you drive it harder than usual. Rims first, those jdm tail lights for sure, maybe a new aftermarket exhaust. That should be a good start.

i would not do rims first. although rims do look nice and contribute to handling i say that there needs to be something behind those rims to back them up. like big calipers and some nice rotors. but if you wanna go with rims make sure that they are light weight. go with 16 or 17 inch rims. a few other things that i would consider for starting out is maybe a cold air intake, window tint, changing that interior lighting (such as the gauge cluster and a/c controls), or sprucing up the interior with painting some of the accents. exhaust is nice, but you will find that and rims as well to put a nice whole in your pocket. if you ever want to turbo charge your car in the near future don't do exhaust because you have to buy different parts.

do small things and work up to the bigger mods. since u are new to everything haha take some time to learn about the car and the options that are available for it so when u do get out of school, u will have an idea of what u can do/get for her!

good luck and keep us posted!
