Hey,
So I found this forum looking for 6th Gens. I'd really like the GT, but it seems to be out of my range in price. I'm saving towards rebuilding an FD, so I can only spend so much. My price range is somewhere around $4k (Hopefully lower :*( I know that isn't much when it comes to 6th gen's so thats why may aim is 150k miles, but definitely 5-speed. I wish the ST's werent 110hp, I'd love the 140hp GT models, and have seen high mileage stock GT's at $3500-4000 in the past. dont buy a g2, you can get a celica for that much, maby even a gt----try ebay!

I saw a coupe with a NICE wing on it, like TRD style, but thats all & tint for sale in Poughkeepsie, NY last month, probably gone. I saw a black H/B in Danbury, CT last month too. I dunno if they're still around...where are you located?

Thanks for the replies. Yea I am in Newburgh NY, So I am not far from Poughkeepsie or any of the local states (1/2 hour from PA/NJ/CT/MA). Did you talk to the owner? Have a price or number or street? (LOL I don't know where to begin with that car...) And FireinDC, you think so? Some dealers want like $4.5k for 160k 5-speed GT's which is kinda crazy, I am trying to spend under $4k, and want a GT so I expect high miles but that's kind of high. And I love G2's, I haven't driven a 6th Gen, but any other FWD car I've driven is pale in comparison to the G2 as far as handling and dynamics. |

Dude ur like 30mins away from me...look at my pics of my car, ever seen it?
The black coupe with the wing was on RT9 by Home Depot, i havent seen it in awhile. I heard it was a girls but i didnt call or check it out cuz i already have my car, i just wanted the wing that was on it. The other was black too, in Danbury by Toys R Us, but both were like a month ago so i doubt they're still there, but you never know. I've never seen your car but thanks for the info. That website doesn't have any Celicas (Or Rx7's for that matter) but lmk if you know of any that pop up, or any MKI MR2 Buyers  Thanks.

Thanks for the links, although I think they are too far.
I've been searching within a 100 mile radius (Yea cause I don't want to fly to get the car! I would for the Rx7 but not a dd). I've been checking cars.com/autotrader.com/thepartstrader.com as well as the local paper and this forum....not much else I could do...but let me know what comes up in the Tri-State area! Thanks! |
