Hi all,
I'm new here and in desperate need of a caliper for a Limited Edition ST Liftback manufactured 4/97. I've had to take my beloved car in for a brake job and the shop broke one of the calipers. Now, I'm in a real fix. They can't find any used calipers in any boneyards in the area. In addition, it appears that Toyota used a different caliper for STs manufactured from 8/96 through 12/97. So, my question is, does anyone have experience with finding special parts for this model? Is anyone aware of any alternative or OEM caliper that can be used on these models?

FYI, the caliper stamped "57-25" will not fit.

Please help! frown.gif

go to your autoparts store such as autozone, kragen, napa and ask them for a brake caliper for a regular ST 1.8 liter engine.

autozone's part number is C9043.

search autozone website and it should come up.

Thanks, hanyo!
So, this would work on an AT200? I'm being told that there is only one kind of caliper that will work specifically on my car and even Toyota says they're having trouble finding it.
