Door Panel Rattling, Anyone else get this? Options

Alright, the ride used to be quiet...no noises. But now my door panels are rattling and I can't get them to stop. I thought it was my window at first because it might not be up all the way? Well, they were. So I pressed against the door panels and the rattling stop, I hit them and they wouldn'ts top. Has this happened to anyone else? It's annoying and fairly distracting, I used to love my quiet ride..

ya mine used to do that until i put dynamat in

if you have like 100 bucks you can get 36 sq feet of extreme dynamat on ebay. i bought that and did the whole car.

each door was like 5 feet and the trunk area ( i have a hatch) was like 12 and i did the floor and the rear speakers too.

i wouldnt recommend any other sound deadener besides dynamat. there is a reason they are the most expensive

there is another brand called brown bread which SUCKS. it falls off within weeks.

you can get 100 sq ft for 100 bucks compared to the 36 that dynamat gives you.

but i would get the dynamat.

yeah ive been told dynamat is good stuff and was thinking about putting it in my car around the front door speakers and the back pair. How hard is it to install (like removing the pannels and stuff)?

removing the panels is pretty easy

also you have get some spray cleaner with amonia or alchohol and clean the surface like a mofo.

you also have to get a roller to smooth out all the air bubbles and work it into the cracks and crevices in the door panels...

when you apply it start from the bottom and work up.

You don't need Dynamat. There are cheaper solutions such as RAAMmat60, and a product called Peel and Seal at your local hardware store. They're both pretty much the same as Dynamat Extreme, and they work as well.

I've used both in my car, including in my door panels, and they work great.

hey just call around to your local junk yards and see if they have a 6th gen gt. they have stock vibration isolators that will stop it. and you can get it pretty cheep. i got mine for 15 bucks for both sides

You can also buy a can of dynamat spray. If you put on two coats it seems to help quite a bit. A can only cost around $15. One can can do one door.
