All of the strutbar pics of course...

Front is made out of a Corolla Front Bar... with the mounts mashed to bits with a hammer and re-drilled holes... Some people said that the Corolla front Strut bars were a perfect fit for the 6th gens with minor re-drilled holes...infact, it isn't so. At least, for the bar I bought (a cheapo one from ProCarParts). Not only did all 3 of the holes needed re-drilling, only 2 of the holes can actually have the bolts tighted down. The 3rd, which is right under the bar mount, isn't accessible (so don't bother drilling it...if you're gonna do this yourselves). Also, the bar basically comes right across the Brake fluid canister... which can be a pain. I simply angled the bar over a bit... which creates a pain for hood clearence. I'm barely good. It's illustrated in picture 4.

The rear bar is made out of a Toyota Matrix Front Bar. Basically, the only unaltered thing from that bar was the main bar itself. The mounts were completely re-made... re-drilled, ground down to fit over the strut tower, and cut. It's not a very easy process... but it worked. Again, it was a cheapo bar from eBay...

Well, all and all it costed about 60 dollars, (estimating $20 per bar, + $20 total shipping...) 3-4 hours time, and a lot of human ingenuity. It works... very noticeable handling improvment. It's a sure bet compared to getting a Cusco pair imported from Japan...around $200 a piece... and it works almost all the same.

Peace Yo!
