check to make sure they were installed correctly.

try taking it apart and putting it back in. then get an alignment.

grease 'um up good thumbsup.gif

a week huh!?!?! something must not have been placed correctly. only way to find out is call a friend over and redo it kindasad.gif yeah i know the pain laugh.gif i redid mines about 3 times if it makes you feel better tongue.gif each time something got fixed. might as well order some camber kits while your at it. i ordered and install my rears cuz they were the worst ones camber degree wise. im gettin the front soon also. so i can get my alignment done at a shop, get the print out so i can do my recon, and finally have a car that's fully legal (if i pass the bounce test frown.gif ) *****knocks on wood HARD!!***** when all of that is complete i wont soo paranoid on the road........always lookin' out to see if today i get my car taken away frown.gif

check for this too... this is most likely the culprit:

There is an arrow on the strut, this needs to point outwards or the spring will make that popping noise....

Definitely check out the top strut mount and the arrow. Mine weren't pointed the right direction and I had the same popping noise until I took it apart and turned it the right way.

#1, they are not sitting firmly in the groove of the strut mount, and 2 they could not be facing out correctly. However, on some celicas like mine the arrows are not there. You should have marked everything during removal.
