I'm currently working on upgrading to a different version control system for 6GC's source code (think easier/more reliable updates to 6GC smile.gif), and in the process I wiped out some files.

I restored everything I could think of from a backup, but it's possible that something got missed, so let me know if you see any new weirdness on the site. wink.gif

Which page exactly? http://www.6gc.net/forums/? And when the page refreshes, does anything change? Does it continually refresh every 10 seconds?

Yes, the forum main page. I can't speak for Sever, but for me, it's only when I first visit the page after opening Firefox. When I open the forum page, everything shows up as it should, then, I wouldn't say 10 seconds for me, but within 3-5 seconds, the page refreshes, sometimes once, sometimes it will "double-refresh" after those five seconds, but after that its done. I can visit the main forum page over and over again and nothing will occur.

This has been happening to me for a long time though now, so I don't think it's a side effect from whatever you just did recently.

Sounds like you guys need to delete your cookies set by the board, quit your browser and then restart. See if that does the trick biggrin.gif

Are you sure you deleted them properly? You'll need to delete ALL cookies set by the board. Anyway it sounds like a cookie issue to me, but it's just a thought really. IDK - I'm using Firefox on a Mac and I'm not having any problems at all.

I log in in the mornings... and stay online till 5pm... But sometimes (rather logging in or already logged) i'll click to "View New Posts" and it'll have deleted the posts... I have to click on the bottom right hand corner to extend my search's time-frame...

I dont know if that's normal, but it kinda bugs me... Not anything that requires a re-coding on, but incase it's not normal then i've reported.

Thanks for constantly updating; and continuing to build a super-fantasteriffic site for us Coomer!!

Click the options button near the top right and choose the standard display mode.

As far as the refresh thing, I don't know what would cause that. I didn't see it on my Mac or my PC using Safari, IE6, IE7, Firefox 2, and Firefox 3.

I have the same refresh issue but only when I log from my cell, it keeps refreshing in a close loop and don't let me do anything.

my personal fix : wait until I get home to read my PMs tongue.gif
