as in bouncy idle?

i ran into several little idle problems, one came from a major exhaust leak before the turbo and the rest came from a pinched air line that went to the MAP

Jason is running a simple 5sfte settup maxing out at about 5psi. Thats why he has no inthecooler.

Did you check the V. lines and check valves like we talked about? Try to get that O2 in there also.

I think its a 10:1 FMU but Im not sure. He is still using the 5sfe 1.5 bar MAP so that might be it.

He can start the car and it idels ok but in gear (auto) he cant get beond 1st or so, it just boggs and dies.

He didn't have the breather on the valve cover. When I told him to put it on the car started and then even after removing the key it still RAN!!!!

Im lost here all this was a parts swap he hasn't touched any electronics.

ok so anyone who cares

we have talked to jason and his manifold isnt mounting flush against the block...says he can see right through it. the wasgate is hitting the head so its far as he can push it on...even if he tries to crank it down it still won't work

the manifold doesnt sit flush to the head? that would make for a huge exhaust leak. that cause problems for me when i blew my first turbo to manifold gasket.

he needs to reconfigure the turbo. the conpressor and exhaust housings are completely rotatable.

my wastegate actuator was hitting the head so all i did was rotate the compressor housing a little and it fit perfectly.

get close up picks so we can see exactly where the waste gate is getting in the way.
