mrgrape why do I feel like everything you do or are "going to do" turns into a useless post..I drove 14 hrs to pick up my car a few yrs ago..didn't make a big deal out of it.

Can you do me a favor and the next time you post can you have an actually new car in your driveway.

you no what post away I think I realized That I will never open up one of your threads again bc they are all the same. The only thing good is reading how everybody responds to you.

people with normal neuronal activity develop friends or close relationship with family and such. do you have any of those ?

I have friends that even if it's a long drive would still go with me, some of them are crazy enough to think " that's what friends are for " the secret of Shannon's success may be related to that on some way.

Mr grape, I hope you never leave this site, you don't know how many times you've may me ROFL.

If your 100% sure thats the car you want, even tho you havnt inspected it. Get your cash, get a means of transport eg. bus, plane etc. to wherever the place is. Drive it, hope for crying out loud that its what you want pay for it, drive it back to where you live. If its not up to your expectations well you went there for nothing.

Sounds like a plan? i think so

ps. but before in your previous thread, you are a busy boy/man with school and a full time job, i dont know how your going to fit it in your busy schedule tongue.gif

My cousin found a 94 or 95 MR2T for 6K. Flew out to the east coast and drove 22 hours back home alone.

I drove 20 hours to and from to get my mint, old man driver 99GT with 50,000 for 8K. My dad went with me.

if you really want the car you would go the distance to get the car and since its a 4 hour drive why not just take the bus.

First you need to find 3 people and develop meaningful relationships with them. This means spending lots of time with them, helping them out when they need a friend or someone to talk to, and just plain being there for them. After about a year of doing that, you should have a strong enough bond so that they feel they need to repay you for all the great things you have done for them. Then start telling them a sob story about how badly you need to buy a car. Just drop it into casual conversation a few times. After doing that for about a month, flat out ask one of them to go with you. If they say no, you will still have 2 more people you could ask. You only need 1 out of 3 to say yes, so your odds are pretty good. The only downside to this plan is that you have to wait about a year before asking them for such a huge commitment.
Hope this helps.
