i have seen cars with induvidual throtle bodies and they dont have an air filter on the stacks so could i run mine without a tube or filter and put a mesh over the throtle body to keep big things from getting in there this may be a dumb question but hey i know my friend doesnt run a filter on his turbo just a mesh over the intake side opening u can see the compressor wheel spin and another friend doesnt have one on his gsr integra i wasnt sure if it was a good idea or not

It wouldn't hurt to do so for short periods of time... just keep in mind that the TB can get hot. Just make sure that you don't use anything that'll melt... and do not do this for a long time, especially if you live in an area with lots of dirt...

Some of my friends, back in HS, used to wrap a panty hose around the end of their rubber intake...

Personally, I think this is just plain and simply ugly...

dont you want the sensor to be in the airflow tho, doesnt it send info for the engine to run top notch. before i put hole in short ram for the sensor, my exhaust smelled a little funny but then stopped when i used sensor, maybe it was just in my head that it smelled off
