Man, this has been a crazy ride the past few months........

The down:

Let's shoot back to September. Grenaded my Vette motor. Good for upgrading, bad for the wallet.

Also in September and October, it became apparent that the company I paid to build a single turbo kit for my 93 Trans Am was NOT going to furnish anything.

Then the day before thanksgiving, I wrecked the Celica. frown.gif

Time for the ups though:

Today I got every cent of my money back for the non-delivered Trans Am Turbo kit. I actually was filing a small claims suit and let the owner know, whom I had to track down something fierce. Pulled the claim once the money showed up. This means I can go back to the original company I tried going through since he and I are psuedo-buddies, and I'll have the turbo parts in a month.

I got a Projector, Hood, and Fender for the Celia already.

My Vette is almost done.

And the mother of all news......found out the night before the Celica got wrecked. I'm going to be a father, finally, after my wife and I giving it everything we had for the past 15 months since her Miscarriage in July 2007.

Maybe things are finally starting to turn around.

Hey, that's awesome that things are turning around for you! Congratulations on being a father! And having both of your cars so close to being back together- what more could you ask for?

Well now he has to get rid of BOTH cars, baby seats don't fit in the back of either car... tongue.gif

Baby seats fit in the Celica and Trans Am (though the T/A wouldn't be a good choice for sheer noise purposes). Proven fact, as both of our cars have had them already.

Besides, we have a 05 Pacifica we bought in June specifically in anticipation of an addition. biggrin.gif I'm smart like that.

Thanks all......knowing that I'm going to be a father made things MUCH more bearable. Now that they're turning around I'm so much more relaxed.

That's totally awesome man! Congrats on everything and you are indeed correct about baby seats fitting in the Celica - they work just fine. Now then when they get bigger and their mouths get mouthier they'll tell you just how uncomfortable the Celica's back seat is laugh.gif Hopefully you'll get kids like mine who love the boost too much to ride in the LS400 [Of course my oldest has convinced himself he'll be getting my Celica for his 16th B-Day - LMMFAO]

Congratulations! That's awesome news (about the cars but ESPECIALLY about the baby!) That's gotta be the best Xmas present you could get this year! Well, next to what you'll get next year, which is getting to spend your first holidays together with your baby! My condolences in advance that your wife will be spending most, if not all, of the summer prego. laugh.gif

I'm sorry to hear about July 07, I'm sure it was tough for you both.

But hey, congrats ! The best thing about kids is making them smile.gif good job thumbsup.gif

Things sound like they're improving for you and the family, just keep your head up and don't get stressed.
From everything I've seen about you you're a damn good problem solver.
