Ok, the Injen intake has like one hose that connects to it, plus that sensor, and then it connects to the throttle body or whatever. Now I took my car in to get smogged, they recognize it is legal, however there is a valve that has nothing to plug into, what do you guys do with this valve? It is like right next to where you connect your whole intake to. Do I plug it up with something? The directions were not clear and for visual, I need to do something about it, the guy did not fail me, but is allowing me to correct that and bring it back.

Here's a pic. W hat do I do with this piece?

the stock vacuum hose runs from this nipple to the TB
i see you have a tube on that nipple, I am not sure what you have it connected to?
it is supposed to be connected to that piece you have circled.

I used to have a breather on mine, but took it off for inspections here in TX. For the inspec I had it capped and it passed fine.

dude, just take the peice of that hose off of your intake, and plug it into the part you've got circled. Cap the Intake. Done. It really dosent matter how you chose to do it, but just dont cap the port off your valve cover. The Inspector just wants to see it OEMish as possible. lol.

While were on the subject....I see like three diff ways to hook these things up. Mine is hooked up like the pic w/the TB port capped (for now). What exactly is that port used for?

IDK 100%, but it's something about the excess air being recycled instead of building up pressure. It can go back to your air intake (like you've got it), or it can go back to your air intake manifold (that plug coming out of your throttle body) Or it can just waste off into the atmosphere, it really doesn't matter.

I dunno if I like the idea of things smashing around in my engine bay, thats what the engine is for. Im going to order the breather here in a sec then get some pipe, take it to work and bend it. I'll post pics when I get everything up.

Yeah, we have tools at our shop for bending fuel lines to fit anything and everything. If I mess it up I'll run it over to the guys in the next hanger and let them do it.

Okay for-real though; IDK what size the injen brand uses; but you can litterly just measure the end... Otherwise i think the one comming off of the VC is probably 12mm? It's been a while sense i looked at it... Just measure it bro...

I used to finish my oil catch can . I have one hose connected to my PCV valve and the other hose connected to the that throttle body nipple since my intake has no nipple.

that piece you have circled can be capped. The way you have the breather hose run is correct although you can run it back to the tb and then cap the intake side also.

it doesn't matter either cap the intake side or cap the TB side, I've done it both ways.

so in this pic the hose should just go from the valve cover to the throttle body and the outlet on the intake should just be capped?
