Go rent or buy "The Italian Job" then go to special features, then "Italian Job - Driving School". They show the actors getting taught how to drive the mini's and occasionally on the track there are three "Racing" 6th gens. I guess their trainors or pace cars or something. They look pretty nice, at mirst I thought they were MR2's because they have covered up the headlights.

I haven't seen the movie but I've seen on the web about a driving school in California that uses 6gc gt's. They also use Celicas in the celebrity racing that's done every year for some good cause. They use 7th gens now but I think they used to use 6th gens.

although this is a repost, i haven't yet check the dvd. i saw the movie though and loved it. there is a reason for using the 6gc for race training. They are safe.

Oh, I was about to yell out repost myself. wink.gif

I have the DVD too, and its cool seeing some 6gcs floating around the tracks. They have their headlights filled in for low body repair costs, or aerodynamics, or something like that....Thats probably why thery're hard to notice as Celicas at first.
