hi everyone i was hoping some can help me out of this trouble.

okay my car.

like when i start the car and change to from parking to drive: the car start to shake for like 3 sec then stop and i just notice that some smoke come out of the muffler when it shake. and it shake really hard like its going to die on me.

maybe battier? or the trans?

what is your idle speed in park? and what if any mods do u have?

hmmm not sure what you mean by "idle speed in park" but i dont have much mod to it only (header, muffler, intake) thats pretty much all.

i think he was asking what RPM you are at when in park, and it's also good to know how low it drops when you go to drive(for that three seconds).

sounds like there's an issue switching between gears. I never learned automatics much, but I LOVE blaming stuff like this on them. So i'll just say it's the Tq Converter smile.gif. The problem just sounds like there's a hesitation to switch gears, and while there is, the power is still being sent through the drivetrain. (like shifting without pushing in the clutch).

this could be way off...like i said, I don't do Automatics.

it doesnt really sound to much like a trans prob. thats why i asked what his base idle was in park, it might be to low, so when he switches into drive, it tries to drop even farther so the the pcm kicks in and raises the idle to were it should be, sounds like a tune up issue, or an idle adjustment to me.

I usually dont post in these sections of the forum. Everyone should buy the Service Manual.

oh i get it now.

will when its on park its like 4 little mark up from 0, and when it start to shake it went to zero again or below zero.

anyone know why?

it is usually suposed to be anywhere from 900-1000 rpm in park, and it shouldnt drop that much by shifting.
