How many quarts of oil should I put into my 92' 3sgte st185??

I'll be using 10w30 Mobil 1

Quick Edit: Should I use synthetic?

you should read the maual im not sure about the st but the gt said to use 5w30 only

all depends on how many miles u have, but dnt use to thick of an oil, the turbo wnt be happy if u do. lol

I think it takes somewhere between 4 and 5, add 3, check it, add more until the stick says it's full.


DON'T OVERFILL.

when you do the oil change put 4 qts first. then turn on the car to get the new oil following through. Then go check the oil again.

Theres no exact how many quarts to put although there is an avg. It all depends on how much was previously in and how much was drained. Put 3-3.5 and put until you are full. Don't forget to run the engine as well.
