that is why i said IMO...... it is my opinion that they look better with glass headlights, not the plastic.....so if i blind someone, it means that my headlights are pointed too far upward....... and why are you complainging how much i bump my ****? its my thread and if it is 10-12 posts down i will bump it. most people dont look past the first 4

Actually, I have a FS thread that is months old now. I haven't posted in it since last January. It's WAYYYYYYYY down in the list. But I still get PM's about parts. If somebody wants something, which is the reason people even search this part of the forum, they look beyond the first four threads. Besides, you are only allowed one bump per day.

Whats the difference between 12v/35w and 12v/55w, brightness or what??? Any pictures of the diference? OH and how about price difference??

P.S.
I would have to agree with "ProjectInProgres" about the bump stuff, why does anyone care anyway???

Ok well the facts are that HID's in a car without projectors is unsafe. There should be a warning and all potential buyers should be warned. The regular lights have ridged lenses to provide the proper light deflection and light cut-off. With using HID's you are putting WAY more light than what was accounted for, thus causing the lights to go everywhere they aren't supposed to. If your town is very strict on things, you can get pulled over/in trouble for having your lights like this. And a post by you constitutes as a bump, since it bumps the thread up in the viewing. Therefore your actual bump 6 hours later would be number two. Don't bitch about the rules, just follow them to avoid clutter.

ok, i dont really care what facts you are TRYING to state. and more to the point when someone buys a product like HID's i am sure they know that projectors are PREFERRED and recommended(spelled wrong i think) i dont see you trying to stop griffgirl from doing a group buy...so go jerk off on some one elses thread please..if your town is very strict on this maybe you should get a lower kelvin rating bulb. i am selling these because i can and will.. i did my research, and like i said they are NOT only for projectors. and if you stayed the hell out of my thread i wouldnt bump it back up. BUMPITY BUMP BUMP. OH and as for them being unsafe. the ones in my HONDA are just fine, no projectors, just glass. and the ones in my celica, well they are a little bright so i point my headlights a little down. i suggest you let someone know that there is a way to keep from blinding the world without spending a crap load on projector lenses...of yeah stay out of my thread please. cwm13.gif cwm13.gif

Wow, you lot need to settle down.

People have been selling HIDs on here forever, why pick on this guy?

....and this guy. Bump your thread too much and it might go missing wink.gif

Play nice.

EDIT:

That's not playing nice.

The guy is selling HID kits, there is nothing wrong with that. It's the buyers responsibility to make sure their car is legal, not his.

Cut the crap now.

Agreed w/what Manphibian stated, it's the buyer's responsibility to inquire about these things although as a seller, it's responsible and prudent for your to divulge these things when asked, and especially to NOT argue about it when it's just a true fact that some people find them to be too bright or harsh with lenses like the ones on Celicas. IIRC your HONDA probably has clear lenses to begin with. Well the CELICA doesn't. That's all dustin was trying to say.

As for bringing me into this— I'll thank you to NOT involve me in your future FS threads unless it really does directly involve me. Yeah, no one's trying to stop me from selling the kits, true. But I've also been a member here for more than 2 weeks and have established myself as a reputable member of this site, as well as a reputable seller despite the recent misgivings/delays in shipping. You've got to earn the forum's trust before you go freaking out and being argumentative. People here don't know you yet is all.

True, but he hasn't been a member that long and how many FS: threads were closed due to new accounts attempting to sell things on the account of unreliability?

2. I am not sure how I would feel buying some HIDs from someone who has a sig throwing up West Coast with Florida being the East Coast. Kind of like an oxymoron.

Say what you will, I am just being honest since we are all sharing opinions here.

Random, guy lives in Tampa, west coast of FL.

I don't see what the big fuss with this guys fs thread is. No one who has purchased these kits from this guy seems to be complaining, its only the people who arent buying fussing, and nobody is raggin on anybody else FS threads. I don't know why everyone is so hostile towards this seller.

Let the guy sell his stuff!

words of advice, be familiar with your customs policies just in case they confiscated them, Zoom.

Project: Keep a delivery receipt or tracking no. so that if it reaches their customs and gets taken, it no longer becomes your problem. You do need to get peoples orders right though.

I heard from him recently by phone. He is on jury duty and hasn't to log on. His printer got shipping labels wrong and so everything has be sitting at UPS. He has to reship everything soon or give back money to whomever wanted a refund. He did apologize for delay and confusion so, I assume he will be straightening out everything soon.

this is his wife. he is not in town he is 3 hours away doing jury duty in talahassee. i shipped it out because it was sent back to the house. and the only address i have to ship it to is the one transaction form the previous time. i am sorry for any problems this has caused. i am handling the shipping problems. they made him ship his phone home. he spent a weekend in a holding cell with another juror for using their phones in the jurors box. That would be the the message up above yours mr proven, that got him in trouble.

I've sold plenty of things to people in canada, including HID kits, and have never had any problems. You should be fine.

That said, while I still can't compete w/the price these are being offered at here, what I can offer though is follow through and quick turnaround (and I'm easy to reach). I'm not going to post here in his thread to directly compete, that's kinda crappy—but if Projectinprogress finds himself unable to continue with fulfillment when he's off jury duty, you can always fall back on me. I have a local supplier who stocks a TON of kits, and if ever something isn't in stock, the turnaround time is typically 5 business days max.

thats all fine and whatnot, but do you sell the real deal? the real philips patent kits? James recently got a deal with them in germany and you cant find a better kit than this even for 150 per kit. James will not ship another kit to ZoomZoom. and the problem with TRDproven is that I had to shiip them after they were sent back to me from our FAILING post office. I will follow through with all of his business and make sure it gets done!

For everyone:

I bought a kit from Project, but upon arrival one of my ballasts was dead. He told me to send him the entire kit, bulbs and all, back to him. Three days later he said that the company had sent me just one new ballast. I received the ballast, and had to wait nearly two weeks for Project to send me back the rest of my stuff.

Now, I did receive the kit that I asked for, but not in a timely manner. I would not necessarily recommend that you buy kits from him. I would like to emphasize that I did receive a fully working package, though.

Another note, I ordered before he had switched to thin ballasts and I received a product called Xtreme HIDs. After receiving my kit, I looked it up online and found the same kit that I had ordered, from the official website, for $67.98 with free shipping. ( http://www.xtremehids.com/index.php?cPath=21_40 ) I had paid 75 dollars for my kit from Project.

Anyway, I hope this helps anyone who is considering.
