UPDATE<<<
Went to the garage to get some clarification. Seems it is not the part I thought it was. Apparently the hose between the shock and the wing has split. The part they initially got was the part that goes between the caliper and the shock mount (which is what I thought had cracked). From the kits I've seen on ebay, the hoses in those kits only contain the first stretch: from caliper to strut mount, but I haven't seen any parts from strut mount to wing mount for sale so far. Anyone kno wwher to get those? Also, does it matter if I get MR2 hoses for the calliper to strut mount part (since I have MR2 front brake calipers), or are the threats and caliper connection common? ------------------- guys, I need to replace the brake hoses on my Celica GT (ST202 model, with 3S-GE engine). Nothing wrong there except that the garage initially wanted to do that and got the wrong part. Now my car is a bit of an odd ball. Its a japanese import and I found that the calipers on the front, are actually dual pot MR2 calipers. So I wonder how many different hoses there are and which ones I should get for my car. Also, if someone could tell me where I can source them in the UK, that'd be great! This post has been edited by ksporry: Apr 18, 2009 - 5:46 AM |

Hi K
Check out sumopower's website (based in the uk i think) they do do-luck braided brake lines of around 60 quid. A bargain. |
