I've heard from several people that the Venom 400 gives good gains for automatics. Something about it tricking the ecu into thinking its constantly at wide-open-throttle. In the long run an SAFC is a better mod because its more flexible. You can fine tune it according to whatever mods you add to your car, however you will need to get the car on the dyno each time. Probably for your situation I would go with the Venom.

to really get the safc tuned well a good wide band o2 sensor is needed. its just safer to do it on the dyno

Unfortunaltley, I have always been talking nothing but good things of the Venom 400 becuase I have owned for about 8 months. Well today I have turned it off frown.gif I have realized that all the thing is doing is tricking my car constantly and running rich as s****, I should have bought the SAFCII now I have to buy that one and tune it. Plus I ran it today turned off, and honestly it felt a little better. So now I have to do it all over agin but Im doing it the right way.
Take it from me, I constantly made it look good(sorry bout that guys) just get the SAFCII its alot better and you actually tune the car to your mods bit just a universal application like venom400.

Get a SAFC and get it properly tuned. Venom is...IMO... crap... I mean, an ECU piggyback that really doesn't explain "exactly" what it does...so you don't know what you're getting.

ok... now u guys say i should get the SAFC2... if i get this i have no idea where iam goin to get it tuned to the right settings because there is no where at all around my area... so what would i do about that??? could i like tell u my mods and we could make a good guess?? or could i use some1 elses settings and itll work?? now what works better, the Venom or the SAFC2.. Like you say the Venom tricks your car... now does the SAFC 2 do that with the settings you put in?? will i notice a good difference with it installed and with good settings?? and where can i buy the SAFC 2?? thanx

Think of it like this, everycar is different. Now you buy a module that sends out the same exact signals to each and every car(Venom400) plus this thing just dumps fuel in the motor and thats no good. The Venom doesnt add HP it adjusts the RPM's so that when you press down the gas 40% it thinks its at wide open throttle/ which over time cannot be a good thing.
SAFCII-a mod that will last. It tunes everymod you will ever put on from turbo-swap to N/A it wont give just universal applications like V400. Plus you adjust your Air/Fuel curve for more response and so your car dosent dump fuel in the any gear or lightly give it---hence "a well tuned car".
Take it from me man I own it, its still under my hood turned off, if your willing to spend money on V400 just ask around in your town there would most likley be a dyno somewhere.

check the how to section of this site, there are instructions on how to install it on your car.

also, unless you know about tuning engines, dont mess with it. the potential is there for you to blow up your engine.

find a place that tunes imports, cuz if you dont have a place to tune it, $300 will have gone to waste.

btw check ebay, that is where i got mine.

I have mine for sale. Look at the buy-sell section. Drop me a PM and we'll talk.
