thought i would share what i did to the hood. its a very minor mod but saves time and is pretty practical. After getting caught in a monsoon once, i decided that would be the last time for me!
![]() the hood i have is a VIS type, with a vent and cover, i got really tired of screwing and unscrewing when i wanted to remove the cover (especially in the rain) so i visited my local hobby-R/C shop and got some o these: ![]() ![]() ![]() then i got some good ol epoxy and threw em in the holes! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() lickety split! sometimes its the little things that count This post has been edited by easternpiro1: Jun 1, 2009 - 10:50 PM -------------------- |

where and how much plz any hobby shop that sells radio controlled cars, and you can get epoxy from wal mart or lowes or a hardware store. even crazy glue might work for the posts in the holes. the pins should cost like 2 dollars and the posts 2-4 dollars. that's balla' homie. you wont have to worry much about them breaking cuz its under the hood. Got the Filipino neon yellow/green under there thanks homes! i like bright colors lol -------------------- |
