Do we really need to do an oilchange If I seafoamed it through the vacuum lines?? If so, why?

Just had my head done last week, new spark plugs etc., but it feels like its consuming more gas.

yes.
because by doing that, some of it gets into your oil, which dilutes it, and makes it thin.
