My question to you guys is should i get the interior trim peices painted the same color (blue) or a diffrent contreasting color.

And i am going to need some wider wheels does anybody know where i can get atleast some 17 x 8.5 wheels

Lovely. I've got that front end sitting in my parents garage waiting for my lights to come in(turn signals, still need to order new high beams). Luckily I have a friend who does body work and can get to it anytime I have a free day. I'll have to ride with primer for a month though so I can save for the sides and paint(won't look too bad cause we're using black primer).

Good job. Can't wait to see the painted pics.

first of all.. its a pretty stupid idea to mold ur front bumper on... wtf will u do if u need to get to a part around that area? like... replacing ur headlights... ya CANT do it without taking off the front bumper...

and please aaronc2222222222 for the LOVE OF GOD AND ALL THAT IS HOLY do NOT put on ur body kit and ride around UNPAINTED. i cannot stand that. why dont u just freakin wait until u actually get the sides and the money for a paint job?

You don't live where I live, there was a MkIV Supra(red) with a white body kit for 6 months, there's a Del Sol with a white kit...

Sure I'd rather get the whole thing done at once, but not everyone has the budget for that. I just don't have the money management skills to have 1200 all at once(House of Kolors Pearl Black+all primers/bases/clear/reducer..., VIS sides). Besides, the whole car will be primer(fixing all dings while we're at it). AND it's a BLACK primer, not white.

Not to mention the time contraints when you only have one car and are doing most of the work yourself(or with friends). I'm willing to be seen without a nice paint job for a month or two to avoid paying a shop 3k or so for the same thing I'm getting for 1000(paint/putting bodykit on/pulling dents).

Have you ever talked to the people who have unfinished stuff? Most of them are do-it-yourself type people who are just in the sport to have fun(sure, there's the occasional dumbass that thinks he's cool having a white bodykit, but you have that type in any crowd).

Thats some mad truth there aaronc222. I did all the mounting of the kit myself and didn't get it painted until a couple of weeks after. Although a do agree with boibleu22 about the front bumper. There is too much to work with under and around the hood to make the front bumper perminent. Dispite that the car has some awsome potential and painting the interior would just add to the look. So go for the interior dress up.

thanks for the input guys its greatly appreciated.

and i know it would suck if something happened but i would just have to cut by the fender and take the whole front end of and then repair just the fender.
but the finished look is definatly worth it, it looks so damn sexy in person, all smooth and curvasious

I'm going with the 'molded' front as well. On the Blitz style it wraps around to the wheel well anyways. Just have to be carefull.

Anything from dropping the transmission and motor to changing the headlights can be done without taking the bumper off(might be harder, but it's not impossible), not to mention how much better it looks.

cant you take the fenders off with the front molded to it, i took my fender off once when i did my angel eyes to hammer out a dent since the front was already taken off. it doesn't take long to take off the fenders and would save money so you dont have to cut the fender, sounds little drastic to me

Taking the fenders off isn't an option. You would have to take both fenders and the front off as one piece, which would break the bondo/kittyhair(fiberglass) that you used to join them.

aaron22 is right if you needed access to the front you would have to cut the body and remove the whole front two fenders and bumper as a whole.

Personally I'd just used white (or whatever colour your car is) caulk / silicon around the gaps instead of moulding.. Too much trouble there.
