Ok here is the deal. I want decent struts/springs/mount and so on. I dont want them to be cheap yet not to expensive. I need decent daily riding struts. I am thinking about going with factory again. How much is it for the entirerty of the whole assembly(preferably already assembled) does anyone know? Also do you know where i can buy these setups already assembled? Sorry frist time dealing with suspension pretty need at it frown.gif

I'd recommend KYB GR-2 struts, mounts, and boots wrapped with factory springs (if you don't want it lowered) [All prices taken from http://www.partstrain.com]:

(2) Front Struts - 115.64
(2) Front Mounts - 75.90
(2) Rear Struts - 103.90
(2) Rear Mounts - 117.44
(4) Boots - 51.48
(4) Springs - 234.16 (OEM); 200 (Eibach [Sport or Pro])
Total = 698.52 (w/ OEM Springs) /664.36 (with Eibachs) (before shipping)

The cost for an OEM setup (all prices taken from Champion Toyota [http://www.toyotaworld.com]) is:

(2) Front Struts - 205.04
(2) Front Mounts - 135.24
(2) Front Springs - 110.24
(2) Rear Struts - 268.06
(2) Rear Mounts - 217.94
(2) Rear Springs - 123.92
Total = $1060.44 (before shipping)

Note the OEM setup is without boots and that the you can drop the price of the aftermarket stuff at PartsTrain using coupons. Also, you can get brand new sealed KYB GR-2 struts (2 front and 2 rear) for around $205 shipped and Eibach Sportline Springs for $200 shipped. If you do that and just buy the boots and mounts from PartsTrain for about $240 shipped (using a 10% off coupon) you can get everything for just a smidgen over 640 dollars.

KYB's are OEM replacements. The fronts are inserts if you don't have sealed struts. Then again you can get the whole assembly for the front also. You save by getting KYB's compared to OEM.

HAHA, I normally like to do comparisons but this one was easy as I'm planning to overhaul my GT's suspension in December so I was already doing the research.

Most of the guys here that aren't using coilovers are using KYB's to replace their stock/OEM struts and they hold up well from what I've read.
