You got all that for $180? Good deal. I need you around when I start shopping for car parts haha.

OreO's car turned out great, others have not turned out so great, but they left the 6th gen bumper on the car. Sounds like you've got a good plan though, so best of luck to you. Pics ASAP.

The lights look great! Not a fan of the front at all nor the design of the rear bumper, but I guess you needed that specific one to make it fit?

Good luck with the project.

ahh so the trick is to use the supra rear bumper! How hard is fitting that bumper? did it require alot of cutting as well?

But no your work looks pretty good, the front isn't bad either if you remove to fog lights. Paint the whole car black and you got it good.

IM with this. Want to see how you went about getting that all lined up. As far as your big ol fogs...Im sure if they were molded in there they would look great.

What are you going to do about the Supra bumper hanging down quite a bit lower than the Celica fenders, just out of curiosity?

I am with richee about the rear bumper being lower.

The front end does need work, but I have confidence that if you can make the supra rear light conversion work, you'll be able to work the front end out. =)

Great job thus far man!

ok as far as the rear i goes i will go ahead and do a walk through with pics to show how to do this just give me some time ohhhh and to answer your question im gonna extend where the lip ends to match up with the fender well or change the body kit design a bit im undecided depends how it looks in my head. the front might change or be left the same still thinking about what to do. The lights (fogs) are comeing off i plan on molding them into the front end or changing dont know yet im about to order the gt4 front clip but still scrounging around for money so this is taking longer than i wanted time for a third job

nore power to you and this build, looking good so far, props to the time and effort youve dedicated to this project, one thing i have to say though is that, you gotta work on that front end, something simple would look as nice, for me i think theres alot of things going on there as far as the fog lights and the whole front bumper itself, but if thats your thing then i cant tell you anything..good luck on your project

on the rear the top side looks good, but the bottom side does not align, it does hang lower and farther away from the stock. I am thinking it will extend the original celica length further. I assume it will be molded on. Waiting for the finished pics.

Looks great. 100% better than the crappy supra rear ends elsewhere on this site. 0re0's was my favorite. I think that for the rear bumper you should cut it to match up with the stock Celica lines. The big bodykit look isn't very flattering on our cars.

+1

Even if the rear looks like a Supra, the body is not big enough in my opinion for the Supra spoiler to match evenly. Besides, I like how the raiser blocks are beefier looking, in this case maybe shaved raiser blocks and if not just go spoilerless.

I think either TRD or spoilerless.

Spoilerless, hands down. Once you paint it and mold the rear bumper so it lines up with the Celica fender at the bottom, you'll have a great looking rear end. I think a spoiler would detract from the work you've done.

no plz dont change the front end. Ive seen the conversion for a supra on a celica from somebody on here and it didnt look good. I think the supra tail light rear end conversion looks pretty decent. The celica can be confused for a supra if you look at it from the rear for sure. But you have to it spoilerless

I think the front of an ss-III and gt-four celica with projectors looks better than the front of a supra

nah, the supra rear end doesn't look good without a spoiler. Just get the raiser blocks for the stock celica spoiler or go with the TRD one.

I agree that the Supra rear end doesn't look good without a spoiler, but this isn't a Supra rear end. This is a modified Celica rear end. And I like it just as it is!

I'm guessing that he's asking if the OP decided what it was going to look like for a finished product.

Take your time......really don't understand why people would pm someone to tell them that the person who owns the car shouldn't do what they desire. If we all do the same mods, we're all the same.

ohh an yes it will all be molded into one piece but im not sure i was thinking about turning the rear section where the gap is into some sort of vent im not sure yet though i gotta c how it looks first i might jus keep it simple i keep turning smething that should only take a cupple days into a week i might not even leave the bottom point the way it is might cut it flush wit the rear

Great job so far. I wish I knew how to do stuff like this.

IMO I would definitely cut it flush with the rear. It looks very unfinished with the point sticking out. Plus, the jaggedness would take away from the flowing curves that the car already has. But whatever you end up doing, good luck.

you need to do anything or wanna know how to do something let me know i can point you in the right direction an post a how to its not as hard as you think it just requires patience an some artistic talent me everything is in my head i never drew out any plans or schematics while doing it just overcame hurdles as they came and change the design as i go which in a way is a good thing and a bad thing im a perfectionist so yeah well i will be doing a full work up of this including how to fabricate the parts just taking longer than i thought money issues and yay me moving soon too

Just wondering, I know you have more to do, but are you leaving this pretty much like this on the two sides?

It might look kinda hot if you cut out that little hidden area and put a vent or something there. Not sure of your plans or anything but just a suggestion, either way, I cant wait to see the finalized product and keep up the great work.

I've wondered that as well.. I'm sure all that has to be done is relocate the lock mechanism from where it was at to the backside of the tail light, whigh might even be in a similar place on the car.

Looking good! I can't wait to see the finished product. Those skirts you have are perfect for this car.
