Yo!

I plan to do the big swap(3SGTE) in my Celica 94 ST(7AFE).
Everybody talk about How To do the swap, but my question is about supension and braking..

Does my current suspension(OEM) and Brake (OEM Front disk and OEM rear Drum) is enought for the 3SGTE? Does is the same suspension between AT200 and STxxx?

If I Need to change my suspension, What is your suggestion? And about brake?

What is the weight of this engine 3SGTE, 5SFE, 4AGE, 7AFE?(this part of the topic is to help the Search button!)

Thanx for your help!

P.S. I try the search button, but I find nothing...

Your suspension components will be fine, but I'd try to upgrade to rear disk brakes in the back, so that you'll have better braking performance. Good luck though, I've tried to buy them from three different people, and it never goes through for one reason or another.

The ST and GT suspensions are different. the STs suspension is made for a lighter load, although it will work fine, eventually upgrading is definatly a good idea.
