After looking around a few month, I went out and picked up this beauty. biggrin.gif
A '93 GSX-R600 and Jeez, I am amazed by it. I absolutely love the body style of the 90' gixxers. The bike has 15k on it, all original. I can't believe the shape this thing is in, although it does have the occasional scratch here and there.

I couldn't have been more pleased with the buy. The gentleman I bought it from was so awesome and pleasant. He was practically just giving me stuff! I was just going to buy the bike but by the time I left, I had accumulated new grips, new tire, shoei helmet, bike bag, bike backpack, and a jacket. He said he didn't really need any of his crotch rocket gear anymore.

The bike has such a nice feel to it, rides fantastic! I have so much respect for this bike, it isn't even funny. The thing redlines at 13.5k, although that's way more then I need. I'm shifting at like 6-7k taking off and around 4k if I'm just cruising. I don't see myself ever getting up to 13k...at least, not for along while.

Wish I couldn've taken a better picture for you, but I was kinda in a rush this morning...
I'll post more later probably.

Oohh yeah...and it also has a slipon yoshi as well as a mad nice LED kit. Just some added bonuses tongue.gif Pretty sick, eh?

Good thing you're happy with it. As long as you respect it, you'll be fine. But eventually you'll be able to do dirty things with it. That's part of owning a sportbike, not riding around like a grandma avoiding death. Cars will be the danger to you, so keep your eyes peeled. I started on a brand new '04 Ninja ZX-6RR back in 2004. After first test riding an '04 ZX-10R, I felt it had way too much power for what I needed, so I settled for the less powerful bike, which was still scary fast for me. I still have it, but it's on the other side of the island. A friend of mine wanted it so he's giving me monthly payments. tongue.gif

I currently have an '06 Ninja ZX-10R. I'm waiting on the BMW S1000RR to get to the island to check it out. Having just one bike sucks to me. I always have two at a time, but my other one is sitting in a thousand pieces waiting for a paint job, LOL.

Congrats on the first bike, I'm sure there will be many more. It sounds like you've got a good head on your shoulders about the bike, a lot of people get a crotch rocket and think they can instantly ride wheelies and pull 140 mph on the freeway. I'm sure you'll eventually hit that redline. My first bike was an 88 Kawi EX500 and I never thought I would get near 14,000 rpms but eventually I got there.
