well this project has sorta taken on a life of its own i am in the process of moding a 350z front veilside kit with flares to fit my 94 toyota celica i will not be converting to the front headlights and i will be keeping the four front lights up in the front (upgrading to projectors ) and the kit will be modded an cut to pieces to fit the celica ive got everything in my head as of now and i will be drawing out schematics and concept art for this project to pin point where i am going to cut and fiber galss ect... i am in the process of getting a 3sgte upgrade as well but as you know this takes time the supra rear end conversion is nearing completion and will be done before the end of november that being said i am begining the thread for this front end 350z style front end... this is the pic that got it all started... and got me thinking so im crossing these to kits and fabricating my own custome kit which i will be making copys of and possibly selling later down the line...

This is the veilside front iv got that im starting after november

Ill keep you all posted >:)>....

Isn't that a 7GC in the first pic? Can't say I'm a fan of that, but I'm excited to see where you'll take this. thumbsup.gif

You might want to have a really long discussion with player158 prior to chopping your own celi into pieces. If done right this might look good.. although all you had to do was buy a invader front bumper for 6gc celicas, remove the bottom lip and do whatever you wanted to do. But project is a project. Best of luck mate.

hey whats up.. personally, i think that you are better off going with the FULL headlight conversion as well....... it will cost u ALOT LESS in the long run, and in my opinion look better and cleaner... it will be very hard to keep your 4 celica lights.. if your are doing a 'conversion' convert the whole front, if your just usuing the body kit... its not really a conversion. i think if you have the time and the money go for it all !!! but thats up 2 u !!!! biggrin.gif

yes sir i do agree but its not reely a conversion i guess... im custom building a front end for this celica using the 350z style veilside kit as a template i want pepo to be able to tell its still a celica so ill be keeping the four lights up front ill figure out how im doing this as i go ive always like the four lights on our cars and i wanted to keep these in the design so yeah but like i said this is the start of a new kit im putting together for our cars so after initial fabrication i should have a full kit worked up and for sale later this year but all this takes time smile.gif

well this is the start of everything for the copying of the veilside kit

ill be posting more picts of the copying procedures and how to steps on fabrication so any questions let me know ill post pics depending on some of the questions the members ask.... now that i think about it maybe ill do a full front 350z conversion on my girlfriends gt only drawback is its not a hatch but you cant beat a celica for 300 dollars smile.gif

Just make sure that whatever it is that you do.. does not permanently bench your celica for 3 years. Reeeeeally easy to get carried away. We have members here that have not driven their celicas probably since 2000 and still working on it. If you know what i mean o-O

wow man thts crazy just wow not something i would ever ever consider doing. If anything my celi will be down for twenty four hours at most but still drivable the onlything that is gonna take out my celi is gonna be the engine swap im planning on doing or if my engine blows twohundred eighty thousand miles already so yeah thats crazy mang since 2000 omg i cant live without my celi

Your posts look like a terrible case of ADHD...you need some periods in your life, my friend.

But sounds good. I'm anxious to see how you're gonna make this fit onto the front.

Kinda reminds me of that mask that was worn in Silence of the Lambs. Something about it just dosent seem right about it (the lines don't seem to flow), but I'm sure that you'll work that out! Got any pics from the front?

Hmm... that car looks awfully suspicious... Lol. Just kidding. This could go either way. It's not as bad as I thought. I read "350Z bumper on a Celica" and I was a little scared, but it's not looking as terrible as I thought. Keep us updated. And tell your friend to get a job laugh.gif no, I'm just kidding again. I know how bad it sucks being broke. You're a good friend for helping him out.

AHHHHHHHHHH!! it looks so freakin AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, WOW!!!!!!!!!! its coming out so GREAT!!! now its a lot easier to see where you are heading with this and its going to be one hell of a bumper!, if you make it hard enough I bet it could be sold for some serious cash. but just WOOOOOOW I lOVE the shape you are giving it!, I cant wait until its finished!!! oh wow I am dumb lol, of course it doesnt has any turn signals, how couldnt I notice that earlier lol, so I guess you are right, the front bumper should be your 1st priority, Wow just wow!, I'm speechless lol, I wish I could ask how much you want for it?, but I'm running low on money lol, if you finish it the way I imagine it will, it could be the coolest front bumper for celicas that I have ever seen, even cooler than my favorite which is this oneHEREyou are like one of the coolest dudes out there! thanks for sharing

as much as I want to see the finished car, you wont die if you dont do anything to the car for a couple of days, if its rainy, hunt a house with a garage, that way weather wont affect your progress smile.gif

WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! minor tweaks????????????????????are you kidding??? THAT LOOKS SO AWESOME!!!!! If I hadn't changed my plans, I would had made you an offer already lol, but I'm probably giving my celica back to my pops and moving to peru to start a new life on a country that i've never lived lol, I'm that wild lol. thanks to my feonce, shes worth anything, but if I find a GT4 over there I will not think twice to make the owner a generous offer for it smile.gif, her sister is going to get me a job on a hyundai dealer which shes the president of the human resources and she already talked to her superiors about it, and shes going to get me a job either as a mechanic or a sales representative, and those are really good jobs over there which pays more than being a teacher or police officer ,I've been looking at some prices of cars in peru and I think my celica could be worth around 8,000$ cars are really expensive there and I think it will be kind of hard to adapt to the price tags over there snif frown.gif. anyways man you are just astonishing!!!, I think we should have been brothers or something, because you like the sames things I do, and if I would have had the chance to make my front bumper, it would have been similar enough or just the same! its just like the perfect bumper! it has all the perfect things that I always look for on bumpers when I windowshop for bodykits! I just LOVE the semitriangular side vents!!!, you should match the rear like that or maybe put bigger vents but with the same or similar shape, so that it could match the front, I could honestly say"I wish I were in your shoes!!"

I'll be honest. I really had some doubts about the compatibility of this front bumper with our series of Celica, but I have to hand it to you that it actually is looking good and still coming along. Kudos!

Well my friend That is exactly wut im planning on doing I have a company name her in san anto but never was able to take it much further after i got car jakked lol then had an air tool explode on me and was out of comission for like 6 months (ripped my hand in half) oh an the nme is demonic interventions/ D.I. inc..... for short and I am going to be making a cupple copies of this front and rear in sme sort of carbon fiber versions later in about two or three months ooohhh and i was thinking of making the first vent tward the front the spot for a 350z blinker l.e.d not sure yet though might not depends im also thinking of cutting out the center like on the 7thgen and getting rid of th two cirlular vents on the front and angling the front a bit more im still undecided but thinking there will be two versions of this front floating around like the one you c now and the other more like the one in the first pic of the 7nth gen celi but again undecided lol to many images floating around in my head though

so you would come from all the way on the west side of the country to the east just to help me????????nah jk,
I know its forum assistance wich is highly apreciated but, give me some ideas to go not cheap but, thrift shopping for things lol, like brands of fiber glass coth types, satin?, resin, urethane? i have urethane rubber and plastic resin formula bottles which i spent over 71$ and ended up not using it due to not finding any mold release anywhere for a resonable price, and it dries white, not clear. but simple stuff like that would help me a lot.

I agree with D-man you have made the coolest bumper ever man, thats going to sell like hot bread lol, not sure if that sounded right but its an spanish expression lol, which Ill have to get used to spanish bc of moving to SA(South America not San Antonio lol)
and about changing the 2 holes on each side I agree with you 98% about taking that off circles for fogs its the only thing that didnt matched with those nice angles on that kit. maybe an oval or semi triangle there would look awsome! also go with the LEDs check PM

WOW!!!! now that cant get any better than that! you are doing exactly what I'm trying to design on my Super Celica Transformation plans!, (just the vents/ducts on the front) I had the same exact idea, unluckly I'm not at my house, but I will show you some pics of the new front I'm sketching. its awesome!. you will still need someplace to put turn signals! so the best I can come up with is that you make them out of LEDs from the LED seller I PMd you about, because you wont have to replace them in a long time. and also use LEDs because you wont have to alter much the design of your bumper, just measure the same distance and placement on both sides and drill some 5mm holes on the bumper in whatever shape you want, but its better if you take some time and sketch several different arrangements and than choose the one you think is best if you cant decide between a couple make a poll smile.gif and we will help you decide smile.gif

I like the way this is going too, can't wait to see it all flowing together as it seems to have a lot of angles at the mo. oh and i don't think there is such a thing as "a little close to the ground" when kitting up a car.....keep up the good work.

ok pepo ive completley change my design for this bumper everytime i looked at it i started to hate it more an more. so that being said its agin in the rough stages went from complete to completly tore down. heres the progress so far I dam near scrapped the whole poject but then decicded that i didnt need to start over from scratch sooooo here the progress of the new old design lol

in my opinion it was not sloped down enough and was to squareish looking so like i said almost scapped it an started over but at least i managed to sale the other version of it for 800 bucks so koo i was surprised when i got the offer lol craziness
