Hey, as some people probably know I've had constant problems with wheel bearings lately, finally got it done properly but the dam axle nut won't stay tight, everytime I drive there is a constant clunk and If I ever do any spirited driving I get another rotating/creaking noise from that side, so I tightened the bolt to 137ft-lb what the book said and ALL noises are gone, no clunks and the other noise is totally gone so It must mean its that right? but then it comes back not long after.

Any ideas what it could be? I don't want to tighten it too hard as I've heard that can damage the wheel bearing, so maybe lock tight?

I thought 137 sounded like it was not enough, so I checked...Ive got 159. That may be why it keeps coming loose, its close, but after a bit it'll work itself loose. And if you want to toss some "loctite" in there I'm sure it wouldn't hurt.
