so i am in the middle of making a duel spoiler for my vert as my GT4 spoiler has a gap on the inside of the blocks...

so here is how its going.....

first i had to remove the gt4 spoiler....

then i marked the old two post spoiler...

then cut off the ends...

and put the gt4 spoiler over the top...

and then put it back on the car...

then it got too cold so i retired for the day, gonna smooth it out and finish it off next week but for now this is it, primered and ready to finish.....

Torque is how far you take the wall with you....

It's a great idea, you need to take it a little farther though to make it look nice. I would personally mold the gt4 wing so its flush with the truck and also mold the two wings together to make one piece.

Nice Idea but not liking it very much myself.
I think it would be a great idea if you used the GT4 blocks and added some fibreglass modding it to fit the Vert instead.
I think that should look nicer.

I would say no. The celica is all about the clean oem look. I would say remove that bottom spoiler and fix your current gt-four spoiler so that it sits evenly with the trunk. The gt-four spoiler blocks are sitting in the air. You should shave them down so that they flow with the flat trunk of the convertible.

we all know spoilers dont do much for our cars, but Great job on finding a creative way of filling the gap thumbsup.gif takes skill and creativity to do stuff like that knowing other car enthusiasts will dog on your car. Screw them man Great job thumbsup.gif

what can I say the second spoiler looks bad too high so why you don't fill the gaps of the blocks making with a wing like in the BMW doing that the trunk will look more clean and improve the air flow

it i think it will not look bad

I believe you are going after this look:

add vertical stabilizers like on rally cars

I have to give you credit for creativity, but personally I'm not a fan. I think a trd wing would look amazing on it.

If you just fiber glass that stuff together, it will look really clean. You should take a piece of cardboard and paint it yellow and shove it in between the bottom of the lower spoiler and the car, to see what it would look like wit that gap closed up, that might be a cool look too. Not exactly what I would do to my car, but I respect the creativity. It looks like good craftsmanship.

EDIT:

Some terrible paint skills later, and I say my idea of closing that gap is a terrible one. Here's the proof. =P Keep doin' what you're doin'. Looks good.

Hmm have you thought about using Euro raiser blocks? It would lower the top spoiler, putting it closer to the bottom spoiler. That would make the spaces between the spoilers more equal to each other.
