Don't do it via spraypaint with the unit together, you'll get paint on the inside of the casing (the shiny part.) The amber lens isn't watertight, apparently.

Also, lenses melt at about 350`F, don't bake them in your oven too long.

Just cost myself about $200...

Also, no I won't be trying it again...I'm so angry right now.
