Hey can anyone tell me if one of the spark plug wire gone bad, can I still start my car? The reason I ask because some rat or raccoon chew one of the spark plug wire off. This morning I still can start my car just fine but later afternoon the car can't start. So just want to find out if changing the wire will do the job. Thanks!!

Changing the wire should do the job. It might still start without it, but it would misfire and I think would run the risk of damaging your distributor.

Similarly, had a very bad connection on my first 94 GT...big deal was the acceleration was retarded: accelerate for a brief moment, then speed would drop. TRD wires, concur. and stop strapping bits of cheese onto the wires...that's what's attracting the vermin!
