This is a 5 speed 4age transmission that came with a blacktop I purchased. I only need the motor so the tranny is up for grabs. Only 50,000 km on it and it looks it, super clean and smooth. Looking for $250 plus shipping, will go UPS ground.

How much of a difference over the 7afe transmission?

Well it was built for 170hp versus 105hp. The synchronizers are more durable and gearing is different.

I thought Blacktop has a c160 and is a six speed trans?

6sp was an option on the blacktops, not standard. 5sp was much more common.
