Most of you may remember we made an impressive front 3 point strut brace and there was talks of a rear to match. Well here's our upreated 3pt strut brace. Made to the same spac as our front 3 point strut brace using matching rod sizes.

Some minor adjustments and changes will be made for the final product but overall I'm well happy with the prototype. (excuse the boot clutter)

compared to my 2 post cusco brace:

no need to hope. our prices are always competitive against leading brands.
the rear 3 point was designed for the gt4 and fits all others coupes of the same body. thearetically they should fit verts as well as they have the same rear seats where the base is anchored and top mounts located in th same position.

^ That.

I'm in the market for a rear strut brace, so it might as well be a 3-point.

since the vert is based off the coupe chassis, how will this bolt into the trunk?
also, there are diffrences in mounting locations for the lower bolt hole for the hatch chassis.

we've never fitted this to a vert so cant comment. but if the seats are the same than the middle anchor for the back rest should be the same and thats where it's bolted to at the bottom.
however if the rear top moints are located differently then it wont fit.
otherwise we're offering this to fit gt4 coupes and na coupes. course we will test fit to a vert if we ever get a chance to come across one in the uk and if it does fit then it'll be a bonus.

i think you mean liftback's, this site is very American where they actually have a lot of coupés compared to the UK where we have very few coupés, we mainly have liftback's but for some reason in the UK due to the shape of the car people call them coupés despite them not actually being coupés due to the number of doors

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coup%C3%A9

coupé has 2 doors (saloon/sedan style)
liftback has 3 doors (hatchback style)

verts dont need this.... it comes from factory, the bottom bolt is non existent, and will block the top mechanism.

like was posted above this post, the coupe is totally diffrent than a hatch in the rear.
your bar wont fit.

the center bolt location comment, i was talking about the hatch, im not sure if its a gt/st thing, or a 94-95/96+ thing,
but the center bolt hole is in diffrent locations.

^ It's a pre-face/facelift issue, apparently.

For clarity's sake, might I suggest posting a picture of the full car you've used to fit the prototype -- that way there's no confusion over terminology differing from one side of the pond to the other.

Just for clarity yes its a ST205.

And yes the seat does stay up

This is still in the process of making. Metal prices are extortionate especially with the grade of alu we wanted and the GBP was rubish to the USD untill rcently hence why this was delayed a little while.

It is - remove your seats and you'll see. Ours may not be that deep because we have a gas tank there.
I can add a bit to the fitment question. The coupe [non-liftback 2 door model] including verts have different rear seats and legroom all together. Carpets don't swap, seats don't swap - that leads me to think this is Lift-back specific. I know this because Dman and I have compared and I have a 2 door in my garage and none of it's rear seat stuff works with my liftback.
But who knows untill it's tested. I'd be willing to offer test on all three models if you wanted it Yellowchinaman - just PM me.

My only other question - can this be installed in liftbacks without removing the hatch/boot plastics?
