Anybody got this as well?

My (100% standard) 96 Celica makes a rubbing noise from front wheel well (not sure left or right or both) when it's in full lock, like in doing U-turns.
I've checked the tires but they are not rubbing against anything (well....nothing that I know of)

don't turn to full lock anymore. Other than, I would suggest taking off your tires to see if there is something wrong under there.

i've had the same thing. looks like the plastic wheel well liner bowed in a little on mine. took a heat gun to it the pushed and held it till it cooled. no problems since.

Yeah, on further check I found out that the plastic wheel well liner (on the right side) is slightly bowed. Also the same case on the plastic tray underneath front bumper. (Bad manufacturing?)

Thank's for the advice, AudioFreak.

Anyway, if anybody has the same problem but different cause, please tell me about it. Might be better to check really thoroughly for the cause.

Thanks

I had the same problem jsut before I was making a U to get to a parking space and it made this sound like the front wheel was touching the front bumper. What can I do the fix it?
