When I lost a bolt from my rear caliper I took the other one out and went to the hardware store. Cost me like .06 for an identical bolt.

no. they are not rare at all. I find parts easily. Sometimes if they dont have stuff in stock, they can order it for you. BUT the best deals IMO are online. do searching around first.

and 95celicast is right, lowes and home depot carry a large variety of bolts. if you dont want those, i highly recommend toyota of winter haven parts dept, they are really good at getting you the right part, i too broke the rear caliper bolt and they got me the right one. apparently there are 3 types so they ordered one of each, just to ensure i got the correct one. biggrin.gif

No, it looks like a hooker put her acid vag on your hood. Acid vag = bigger problem than a few dings.

the broken part of the bolt couldnt be succesfully removed because the hardware was already drilled and tapped from a previous broken bolt... however they drilled and tapped it on a slight angle making the hardware useless. it wasnt the need for a bolt i needed what the bolt bolted into. stuck waiting for shipping till i can get back up and running
