Hey people. So i've been working on the exterior for quite some time.. Things are finally starting to come to a close and i wanna get it painted or MAYBE do it myself. Basically i need help with how to find and fix all the small dents and dings and whatever else that will show up with a glossy paint.. I plan to fix it with bondo, i've had a little experience with it used it and its not all that hard my main problem is just idk how to find those door dings and whatever else dings.. any help would be much appreciated! Thanks

The easiest way is to use "tracer". Works on primer or on paint. Get a rattle can of cheap paint (if your car is dark then light paint and vice versa). Spray light mist over the dented area and let it dry. Then use sanding paper on large sanding block and sand the area crisscross. The lower areas will show up as dark (or light) spots.
