Heres the deal.. I found a place yesterday that can get the Jspeed strut tower bars. I posted about it yesterday in the General forum. I emailed them about possible group buys, they can give us 5% off for 5 or more people and 10% off for 10 or more people.

I know that isnt alot but... its better than nothing.

I have been looking for these for quite a while... well over a year if not longer and I will be picking up a set regardless but I figured I would pass on the good fortune to all and see if anyone else is interested.

Here is what the front one looks like
user posted image

Here is waht the rear one looks like
user posted image
Now I have seen different versions of the rear one so I am not sure it the photo on there site is wrong or the other photos I have seen are wrong. I will check into that.

Now for the bad news....LOL

Front: $260
Rear: $260

But then take off either 5 or 10% and its a little better but still well worth it for these

If you interested then post here about it and lets try and get any and all questions answered and outta the way quick and we can figure out whos in or not.

edit: this is the one I have seen before.. the photo if from the parts database and not the best one but its the only one I could find in a hurry
user posted image

I emailed them back asking which one it will be, hopefully I will hear from them soon

Can the back seat be returned to its original position with that rear strut tower installed? Also, do you think the strut tower will be in the way of any sub box that I'll probably get in the future?

The site says the seats can stay up.

For the subs...Keep them off the back of the seats and they will be fine. I will have to get rid of my box since it was made to fit right angainst the back seats but I have moved on to performance rather than "BOOM" now. If you give yourself about 10" clearence you should be fine.

okay I am goin to need you guys to list which one or both that you want.

Here is a list so far of people that I am assuming are in with posts already put, if your name is one here and you DON'T want one let me know. ? mark means I am not sure which bar you want

NEVERSTOP - Front, Rear
defgeph - ?
Neipas09 - ?
RedSunCelica - ?

So far this would be at least 5 bars if the rest of you guys just get one each, thats 5% off.. lets try to at least get 10 bars sold so we can get 10% off and maybe if we can get more than that we can try to get an even better deal.

If there are more let me know ASAP.

I am still waiting to hear back from them about which rear is the one we will get.

I am going to post this on Celica.net and link it here

Thanks

If you can hold on this until after Xmas I will be getting a rear. If not good luck to you and I will just order later and take the extra 10% like a champ wink.gif .

I am in no hurry to do this so if it will work better that we wait until after Christmas that is fine with me...Just as long as you guys will have then money then.. dont wanna look like an a$$ if I tell this guy yea I got "X" number of people hook it up and then when the time comes I actually have "X-10" or some thing like that.

Otherwise here is the updated list for after Christmas

**UPDATE**

Okay spoke with Jason from Bulletproof about these yesterday. The rear bar is the same in both photos just different angles of them... I even had him link up to the photo of it to view it to make sure.

Also have some other parts that can be put in this GB.

6th gen Side tower braces. Set would be 200-220 in the GB

6th gen Underbrace. Jspeed 275 Cusco 165 in the GB

and then there is a Roll Cage avalible for the 6gc, Think it was cusco that made it and if we can get 2-3 people on them it would be between 740-600 minus 20% off.

What I am going to try and set up is that each person contacts Jason on there own time and tell him that your are from the 6gc GB and then you can pay on your own time... BUT DONT DO THIS YET! I have to discuss it with him 1st to see if he is okay with it and didnt have time to yesterday.

I also found out about shipping... You will have to pay for shippin from Southern California to your home... Shipping from Japan is included in the price of the part.

Shipping takes between 1-2 months on these as there company only goes to japan once or twice a month and then it is crated up and sent here but must go through customs 1st and that takes some time..

Hope that helps

I would so love the rear bar. And for all those concerned about the fit on an ST, check my profile(looks dead sexy don't you think?). The only problem I had was that no bolts were included to attach it to the firewall(3rd point).
Whether or not I can do this depends solely on a job I'm supposed to have already. If I get the job I'm in, if not I'll barely be scraping by running shifts at Papa Johns.

Matt,

Ask the group buy people to e-mail me their information. (name & address) Make sure they include what they wish to buy and how they want to pay. (check, cash, Money Order, cedit card. etc.)

It is the same roo but hes not doing his own bussiness anymore.. He is a sales person for Bullet proof.. I asked him about that too.. cuz I know that people have had problems before with DigitalRoo.com.

So it will be the companies respoiblity not his. Like I said they told me 2 months at the most and that is just because they go to japan 1-2 times only. They are also trying to setup a JSPEED-USA so it would be pointless to mess around and delay with us.
