We should start a sticky for those 5 classes. Thats a great idea. It would also prompt me to get my damn car running.

depends on the setup ups, conditions, and drivers.

if the setups were identical and the drivers were equal, at the same track, with the same tires, a turbo GT would be faster because it starts with more power and has more displacement

135hp(crank) 75k miles will definatley kill oroiginal power, thats some ST..they are normally like 90-95whp stock..hmpp,
I dynotuned it with the exhaust a year ago, then I modded it further but I dont expect that much out of it. Untill I get an SAFCII then Ill see were I stand.

Where did you dyno your car? 115 isn't bad. Stock 5s's are around the 100 mark so thats 15 extra.

I dont think anybody should be able the claim any #'s using the butt dyno. If you have a sheet post it if not, get one. You could however post a goal # and see how close you can get. I am shooting for spring to be at 200hp 230tq at the wheels.

thats impossible....you have less torque and less horsepower.... unless those drivers sucked you couldnt do it with 125 hp.... you weigh in at almost the same weight as well

mabey you are just an amazing driver....

You never counted that in Europe we have Higher Octane Fuel, and our engines are Ready for High octane fuel... And in US as fas as i know, you guys have lower octane fuel... And in that case these cars from Us (celica GT 5S-FE) sucks here... They are simply not running stock. I will take a cam and take some video clips of my car, that you understand how my car runs smile.gif

My UK SR (ltf Edn 1.8) is quoted as 118BHP stock - with the few tweaks I reckon 120BHP.
My UK GT (last model 1999) is 174BHP stock - engine performance wise I've only added an exhaust at the mo - so reckon about 178bhp...

higher octane fuel is not going to make a huge difference(unless it is racing fuel ie. alcohol)....not a 15 hp and 20lbs+ of torque difference.... no way.....

i can see the uk gt killing ours....i have no doubts about that....

Think I'm the same as BenMMellor, UK GT 174BHP

I think it's pretty OK on power 'cos it gives BMW 325's and Integra Type R's a hard time, when the BMW was stock (been uprated since) you couldnt seperate them up to 120mph at which point I changed from 4th to 5th and it was all over me like a rash!! Unfortunately on top end I had a report of the Integra doing 155mph near my house (no reason to doubt it) which I don't think mine will do, seems to top out at 145.

I feel proud to live at one end of the best roads in the UK (in my opinion of course) where you can do a 17 mile run between 2 towns in 11 minutes!!! such a good feeling.

Amputate at the neck...just kidding! hahaha I had to say it sorry. biggrin.gif

I think mine's prolly 110 to 115 at the wheels. My other cars are where the power's at...the Celi is just a fun drive. And yeah, highway runs of 120 is nice isn't it? Made it to my friend's cabin, normally 4 hour drive, in 2 hours and 45 minutes...and we stopped twice to eat.
