This will be the DCW catalogue basically. Here's what Romas currently has available. All parts can be ordered individually and prices are shipped to the US or Canada. I'll update as more parts become available. It should take around 3 weeks for you to get the item once it's paid for.

1) SS-III splitters $160 shipped for fronts or rears. $300 shipped for a set

2) Duckbill $170 shipped

3) Triple Gauge Pods $150 (LHD ONLY) 52mm only
4) Single Gauge Pods $80 (LHD ONLY) 52mm only

5) Cluster Cover $Varies but expect $240+ depending on what you want

I'll be trying to get more parts up here such as cooling panels, riser blocks, etc. PM me with questions

QUOTE (doGGy @ Jan 5, 2012 - 6:56 PM) *
UPDATE.

From now on - all the parts are availible in 1-1.5 week period, and you can order them straight from me at Romas@dogcustom-works.com or You can always write Dustin if you aint get the answer from me fast enouth smile.gif

All PM's replied. Romas has a few new pods available and ready to ship out. The price is $250 shipped. They are black, have a lightly tinted grey plexiglass, and will be all black.

Man, I love those pods. If they are still available in two weeks when I get paid I'm definitely gonna get one!

Also, I know that coupe and hatch have different trunk outline, but did anybody try to modify duckbill to fit a coupe?

They will be available to order then, but won't be made by Romas until payment has been received. No one has tried to put a duckbill on a coupe, they are too different I think.

Paypal suit has been finalized. My account is back to being open. I'm starting to get a little free time since I moved here to Australia. All meaning, that I'm back in business! I'll talk to Romas and see if we can't get the ball rolling. Since US funds have dipped in their international value, I'm not sure if the pricing will change, but I'll let everyone know.

Thanks and sorry for the delay. I look forward to servicing everyone's needs again.

Yep, they require a little more work I believe though. Search for threads where people put them on. They look good

I look forward to servicing everyone's needs again.

nice to hear that, still waiting for infos about duckbill and cluster cover tongue.gif

I need information about cluster cover-approximately how much would it cost, what are the options on it, etc.

Hey guys heads up,

I sent this guy $150 for lhd gauge pods back in September and was quoted a 4 week turn around time. The pods never came and when I pm'ed him he told me that customs can take a long time, but that my pod would arrive within 2 weeks. After those two weeks passed I sent him another pm but never got a response. It is now week 9 and still no response. I opened a Paypal dispute but he never responded to that either. I know he's seen my pm's because his activity shows he still visits the site and his folders aren't full. This pretty much tells me that he has no intention of delivering my pods or refunding my cash. So buyer beware, and I would advise anyone else who already sent money to open a dispute asap. You only have 45 days to be eligible for a refund through Paypal.

Wow, didn't know this had happened. Lets do a quick recap here from your last message on Nov 23 (the last time I was on this site). At that time I was on holiday back in the US to see my family on Thanksgiving. The next day I sent this email to Romas.

There are so many things wrong with your accusation that its actually amusing. Your $150 isn't worth me stealing. I make virtually nothing by selling these. The ONLY reason I still do it is because if I don't liase with Romas to get 6gc members these parts, no one can get them. I'm the only person he will deal with. I'm not doing it for me, at all. I live in Australia now, and Romas is in Lithuania. I tell everyone that I don't make the parts, I just place the orders.

I've been on this site since for over 8 years, have 100% feedback, and have done quite a bit for the community. You really think me taking a measly $150 is worth it to me? I work 80 hours a week right now and don't have time to check this site, my paypal, etc. So you're right, my communication isn't the easiest thing right now.

Idk what you don't understand about me not being able to control how fast something gets to you. I get your money, forward it to Romas, and get you a part ordered. Romas hasn't ever screwed someone on here either. I go by what he says and that's it. You getting on here and bashing my name is pathetic. If I tell you a part is coming, and Romas tells you a part is coming.... It's coming. So chill the hell out.

I tried contacting you for weeks, through this website, and through paypal, and you couldn't be bothered to respond. Don't say you're too busy to check 6g or paypal or whatever, your profile said you had been on the site. You saw my pm's and ignored them. So I left you a negative feedback and that was gonna be it. But then people started pm'ing me. One guy said he lost $300 to you. So we're not only talking about $150 here. Stuff like that prompted the thread post.

Communication could have avoided all of this. Pods not made yet? okay no big deal its a custom part. Pod lost in shipping? It happens, at worst I would have asked for a refund. And if you don't want to responsible for refunds due to shipping losses then offer shipping insurance. I would have gladly paid the whole $10 extra for it.

I would absolutely love someone to come forward and say they have lost money to me. If someone lost $300 to me, you really think they would have let it slide? And I would appreciate a screen shot showing that I was on the site. I generally post when I'm online. And if you look, I have what.... Like 3 posts in 2.5 months. I saw your pm on the 23rd. And immediately sent out Roma's an email. A week later (now) is the first time I have been back in. Additionally, I had paypal set up through my old HOTMAIL account. Which I haven't logged into for years, literally. I don't check PayPal because there's barely any money in it and it's not really active. It's not that I "can't be bothered" it's that I work, a LOT. Unless you find a way to actually get ahold of me through Facebook or something, it can be hard to get ahold of me. I have a spotless record, as does Romas. I am just a middle man for you guys to get parts. Once I get your money, place the order, and fwd the money to Romas, my part in the transaction is pretty much done. There's never been a reason for me to even follow up on things.

a screenshot showing you were on the site? I don't take print-screens of every website I go to. Dude I would send you a pm and take a look at your profile, it would say you hadn't been active in a day or so. So I waited until your profile said you had logged in before expecting one in return. But then another few days would go by without an answer even though your profile showed recent activity. I did this with multiple pm's culminating with the one I sent on the 1st. Sure seemed like I was being ignored. It wasn't until I posted in this thread that I finally got a response. Another thing is, if you saw the pm I sent on the 23rd why didn't at least answer saying you had contacted Romas? You left me completely in the dark so what conclusion was I supposed to come to? But listen I don't want to just argue on this thread forever. Send me a pm so we can figure this out, all I want is my pod or a refund. I get nothing from typing posts here.

NWCelica: refunded, order cancelled
Enderswift- waiting on pod
Stwin2- waiting on duckbill

Parts were shipped apparently the week of the 14-18th of Nov, so should be there any time. As always, I do the best I can to keep people updated and have never screwed anyone here. I'm just obnoxiously busy currently, and go weeks at a time without being on the site.

I lost $300 to you and I let it slide. Why? I was a new member at the time, you had been here for a long time. At the time, I was unaware of Paypal's dispute policy, which was moot to me anyway since I paid as a gift. I chose to not bring it up on here because you had an established reputation and I was a new member- who were people going to believe? Especially considering one transaction happened through Facebook chat. No chance of me proving that one ever happened. It's been two years and I have yet to see EITHER gauge pod I've purchased or a dime of my money back. I've accepted that I'll never see any of that and moved on but that doesn't mean I forgot.

Daniel, I'm actually not sure what to say here. I've looked through my Facebook and can't find any kind of dialogue at all for us. If you could be more specific then I'd gladly look into it and see what I could come up with. Maybe an alternate email address you would have sent money through, or a time frame or something so I can check my records? This doesn't even ring the slightest of bells, and if that is the case, you should have brought it up sooner man. But seriously, give me any information you have, and I'll try to see what I can come up with. The only time I can recall people not getting their parts, is the RHD pods that I refunded everyone on. I've loaned money to people on this site out of pocket, sent them parts and told them to pay me when they could, etc. I'm embarrassed that you think I've done something wrong here, and would like to rectify it. Why wasn't it brought up when your friend was trying to get my 3sgte? It just doesn't add up, man. Anyways, go for it on here, or pm me, or whatever works best for you.

EDIT: After doing a LOT of digging, here's what I came up with Daniel:
I found ONE transaction from your email address since 2005. It was for $160 (which was what a triple gauge pod was at that time) but as you can see, there are no notes what it's for, and I always tell people to include what it's for and their screen name. Additionally, in the rest of the thread, there's never a mention about it not arriving. Furthermore, you had been on 6gc for a year and a half (joined June 29, 2008 and this was on Nov 29, 2009) and had approximately 1,200 posts previously (25 posts per page, from page 84 to 133 meaning 50ish pages of previous posts). You weren't a new member at that point, by any means. If I got your money for something, there's a 100% chance I ordered from Romas, received the part, and shipped it out to you. If I had shipped it to you and it never arrived, I needed to know because I always used tracking and insurance. I'm not saying you didn't get your part, at all. What I am saying, is that you can't wait two years, bring it up for the first time that I can see (unless you have anything saying something differently) and just drag me through the mud. This is generally all stuff that could be done through PM, but now that it's been brought up, the community should see how it's resolved. Please reply and we can go from there.

I'm backing Dustin up 100% here folks. He's not trying to rip anyone off, he's not trying to make a buck, he's trying to help the users here. I have spent in excess of $1K with Dustin over the years on Doggy's parts, and have NEVER had an issue. You have to understand that these parts are coming from Europe to Dustin, then turned back around for delivery, so it takes a while. If Dustin is given a timeframe for delivery to him, he can only turn that around to the end purchaser. He can't make the parts magically appear. Once he gets them, I know for a fact that he turns them around asap, but getting the parts to him can take a while. PATIENCE people. These are custom pieces being made, they take a while, and delivery of anything takes a little longer this time of year. To my knowledge, Dustin has NEVER hosed anyone intentionally or unintentionally. He is a stand up guy who I'd never hesitate to work with on anything. You internet bandwagon types screaming for rejecting a dishonest user need to back the heck off of that crap immediately and maybe do some research into the people involves, what's truly going on, and if there's a reason for the screaming and shouting before joining in.

I don't think anyone came here on a whim. I personally don't enjoy having to press for something that I paid for. Which is why I waited until well past the quoted time to make a post, and only after weeks of no communication. It seems that the overall counterargument is that custom parts take a long time to produce and ship. This is understandable, and I was well aware of this going into the order; so let me quote what I have said earlier:

QUOTE

I was more than willing to work things out at any time before posting here.

Either way I have to give credit where its due by saying that my pod has arrived. I'm glad that I finally received it and I have to hand it to Doggy in that it is really well made. Still, I'm unhappy that it took all this to get a response and I stand by what I have said before. Thanks to Doggy for coming in and mediating things for us. My original goal of getting information and ultimately my pod has been met, and therefore I am done posting here. I hope everything works out for everyone else

I will completely second this and will stand behind Dustin and what he does for this community.
The ridiculousness that has been going on in the BS section here lately need to stop and y'all need to have patience.
Realize that we do not live on the internet consistently connected and response can some times take a little bit of time.
If there isn't more understanding and working with sellers in mature and sensible manners, its a wonder that anyone would want to produce parts for this community.

Thanks Dustin and Romas for what y'all are doing for this community

I finally got around to doing this but I just checked my Paypal. Dustin is right, I only sent him one payment. The other $150 payment for the other pod I bought went to a different member who is no longer active on this site. The pod I bought from Dustin was purchased through a conversation on Facebook over two years ago, before Facebook started saving conversations. And, as Dustin said, I didn't send a message with the payment. So as far as anybody is concerned, I simply donated $160 to Dustin. I have no proof of anything. And in 2008, I was a new member to this site. All things considered, I didn't have much to go on and $160 wasn't a huge sum of money. As far as I was concerned then, and this still stands today, this issue is over. Dustin has established his reputation on 6gc as a good seller, and I'm one bad review.

As I said in a PM to Dustin after he attempted to contact me several times recently and I blew him off, I'm being about as proactive in this thread as I care to be. The money was spent years ago. I have a 0% chance of getting it back or getting the gauge pod, and I simply don't care. All things considered, Dustin has been a good seller and upstanding member of 6gc. I have nothing against him personally. It was a nuisance at the time to not get the gauge pod, but as I've stated and maintain, it seems as though this was a one time instance. Furthermore, if I recall correctly, this was shortly before Dustin went to Australia the first time. I imagine it was hectic for him to get packed and the gauge pod was the last thing on his mind. So did I get my gauge pod or money? No, but I didn't care. So my first post was entirely exaggerated and incorrect, I admit. The amount I said Dustin took was doubled. I was incorrect and will be the first to admit that.

I've dealt with far worse members of this site and to this day, when I see those members attempting to buy/sell anything, I let anybody who might try to do business with them know that they are going to get scammed. Dustin is hardly a scammer or he would have been banned long ago. I will say this one more time, I do not care now and have not cared for a long time about this issue. As far as I'm concerned, it's over. Let's get this thread back on topic and carry on with business as usual.

Shipping to Australia is higher then to other parts of the world (dunno why?). AS set of splitters comes in pretty big box - shipping costs 70$.

Yes we do, BUT - these no cheap way to deliver them to US, so i guess its out of question - cuz shipping alone would be around 250$.

Already in the works. Only small problem - would need to run a Groub Buy on these - cuz to sent 1 single lip to US - would be way too expensive (shipping alone).

So would need to run a Group Buy and ship all of them to 1 address in 1 big box - and later they can get to separate US addresses from there.
