just wondering about this... having a 12 volt system... any yea i know this is going to take a hell of a lot of rewiring (for you people thats for reaction is no)
I'm thinking of the many benifets to having a 24 volt system... has anyone everthough about this and or which systems would have to be changed and which can be left alone ? -------------------- |

What are the benefits of having a 24 volt system Mac? Almost no(if any) car audio amplifiers and stuff like that would work, and that wiring to do that would be a nightmare.

A lot of Aviation stuff is 24V, but its usually expensive, just wait a few years, cars will be 48v. soon, they are skipping over 24v. / 48V will let them use even smaller wire diameter for cost and weight savings.
I think Popular mechanics had an article on this recently,,, |
