Well..................would be nice if my car hydrolocked
![]() Got a call from Herosblade that he tried to run across a flooding river on the roadway, got stuck, got the car running again, then rode on the clutch to get out. A couple hours later I get a text from our friend that his car doesnt water to kick over. ![]() ![]() Anyone with experience wanna chime in? Time to call the tow truck and see what the damage is........ -------------------- I don't normally drive fast, but when I do its on a curvy section of this island

pull the plugs turn the engine over atleast 10s. spray mystery oil or wd40 in each cyl, turn over another 10s. change the oil. spray a little wd40 in the cyls, replace with NEW plugs, start the engine. run for 10 min once its warm, change oil again. change the oil again after a few days.
this is assuming there isnt a hole in the block... my car sounded like it had ZERO compression... just spray more wd40 with the plugs out and crank it again. the rings are sucked in. my 7a survived and 3 of my cyls were full of water. good luck buddy -------------------- QUOTE "And, as always, your friendship, help, and dedication to the advancement of Texas Celica dominance is GREATLY appreciated.
