Those are lower end focals. I would recommend components but focal is definately an excellent brand.

excellent brand but there is definately better for your money's worth......a distributor for jbl came last week to my shop and said there is a new line and after i heard it and saw them, they are exactly like the k2 power components they have all the same features. check it out and if i get info ill post it on here..... I own an audio shop and honestly I am not into hifi music but i am forced to know.

I'm running those exact speakers in my fifth-gen's doors and they do very well, utterly clear while producing solid, nuanced bass.

I particularly liked their design and materials because they were going in the doors, where they'd be exposed to a lot more moisture and a lot less air. Glass fibre cones and fully enclosed magnets tend to deal with the conditions better.

However, I got them for $199 in Canada, where we usually have to deal with a 25% markup over American prices (even when our dollar is worth more than the greenback) so you should be able to find them cheaper than that.
