hey guys got my new car today. i have been looking around for some time now, i have been wanting to put the celica away just for meets and sunday drives. with 357k on the clock i thought i would be a good idea to give her a rest. so here is what i bought for a new dd and tune up car.

That security indicator is a pretty standard thing on Toyotas. The LED flashes when the car alarm is armed. No idea what the speaker does though.

Are you sure it's a speaker? It might just be random holes.

Too easy...

Congrats on the tC. I assume it's like a Celica body with a bit of Camry handling thrown in?

I don't think that's the factory exhaust manifold.

Needs a V6 swap.

no its a header, i have the original manifold in the back of the car. as for a v6 swap lol idk im not much of a v6 fan.. turbo or sc is mabey something i might think more into. but as for now its much more responsive than the celica.

I'd be careful with a pre-molested car man. While its still under your 30day or whatever warranty inspect EVERYTHING that you can for someone's previous short cuts when doing work.

Yes, I agree that they're more akin to a Camry than Celica.

yea i do know what you mean lol i looked that car over for almost an hour though. pressed every button and looked at everything i could get my hands into... the nice thing is, the original owner had all the paper work in the car so everything was either done by the dealership or another shop.

that's cool. My Celica was bone stock, had all the paper work, and then come to find out it had a $300 hole in the floor when I got it up on the rack at work to do some brake work. Looks like some putz lifted it wrong and just never told them.
